The Rowdy Rooster

Heard a lot about this place, had to stop in and check it out - very glad we did. The food was delicious and very well prepared. Pictured is the Philly Cheesesteak Scramble. The meat, peppers, and breakfast potatoes were very good. The atmosphere is great, and so are the Mimosas. Highly recommend checking the Rowdy Rooster!

What a great little find! Delicious breakfast, we ordered the Chicken & Waffles and Apple Pie Pancakes! They have a real espresso machine and the latte's were perfect! Can't wait to come back and try the lunch, I want to order everything!

We visited the Rowdy Rooster for breakfast in August 2023 while bicycling the Katy Trail. We had camped in Marthesville the night before. The food was amazing!!! Will definitely return.

Stopped in for Breakfast on our wine country vacation. Service was great, timely, and friendly. The atmosphere really tied everything together. It really felt like walking into a home after being Fixed up by Chip and Jo from HGTV.
The food came out quick and was great. The portions matched the price. If I ever end up back out this way I’ll make sure to stop in.

My husband and I have stayed at the attached b&b on two separate occasions. Our breakfast was included with our stay each time. The two women working were the absolute sweetest, and the food is amazing! I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed

Very nice space for breakfast, original and tasty menu items, reasonable prices, and, most important, they offer outstanding service. The staff and management were attentive and polite, even when greeted with a no notice 10 adult + 4 children breakfast outing. Even when among the disarray of our large family gathering a meal was inadvertently delivered that wasn’t ordered, they simply said it was on the house and then brought out the meal that was actually ordered. Red rooster has a lot to offer, go check them out!

SO GOOD! Just simply put everything was wonderful, food, service, and atmosphere. We will be coming back without a doubt. Perfect way to spend a Sunday morning.

Menu has good variety of options and everything that we have had is excellent. Coffee was okay not great. Servers were friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was nice and clean, a bit small for a breakfast rush but we never have a problem at lunchtime.

Our first experience at this breakfast/lunch restaurant and we were wowed! From the friendly staff to the cute decor and the amazing food, everything was wonderful. We were informed that the chicken and waffles are a house specialty and this dish lived up to the hype. Looking forward to a return visit to try some of the lunch items.

What a fantastic breakfast! Great service and food was delicious ❤. We enjoyed chicken and waffles and a steak scramble. Both were served attractively and tasted great. They serve breakfast and lunch all day (when they are open) so I can't wait to come back an try one of their salads.

Order was hot, fresh and correct. Servers we're happy and helpful. The meal was great but simple and not exceptional. It is about a block away from the KATY Trail. A sign on the outside said the Trading Post and a sign on the inside said the Red Rooster but the menus and the check said Rowdy Rooster. There is parking on the west side of the building. A great little destination eatery.

Our first time here. Really good food and the people are outgoing and friendly.
Really like the old building and general atmosphere of the place.

Delicious food and great small town atmosphere! We had the chicken and waffles and they were 10/10, one of the best chicken and waffles we’ve ever had. Service was fabulous too

First time going to the Rowdy Rooster. I got the triple berry salad with the lemon poppyseed dressing and a cold chai tea. Both were delicious and refreshing after running on the Katy trail. Definitely stop by if you are biking or riding on the Katy trail. I know I will be.

Jewel of the Katy Trail. Best food we had on the trail by far - this would be great food anywhere. Fast, friendly service. Try it for yourself - you will not be disappointed.

Great hidden place for some breakfest. ;) Great scramble. Pancakes are made of corn. I recommend the berry verison.

The blackened steak sandwich was amazing. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back.

Food was great and the building renovation was really cool. Definitely recommend taking the drive to this place.
