Los Portales Taco Shop ( San Jacinto Ave)

I've been eating at this taco shop since I was kid back in the 80's, when the shredded beef tacos were only a dollar! They're almost 5 dollars each now, but they're still bomb!

Los portales Is my favorite taco shop and it has the best burritos in town hands down great flavor. And huge love the cilantro and guacamole in it really good beans and rice the tortillas are good to. Will definitely be back also really good salsa and don't forget the churros. They're amazing. 5 🌟 z

I have loved this place right down the street from my house. My fav is the shrimp taco and the shrimp cocktail. Although it is good as always the shrimp cocktail that is over $10 has gotten much smaller. See the container next to the stack of salsa cups for comparison. It used to be larger for the same price.

This place is alright not the best but ok. I ordered my food with 2 extras on my burrito but it was a skinny Victoria secret burrito I expected the burrito to be a bit better for the price I paid. The price was a bit pricey and hope they give other customers what they pay for but this is just my opinion every one can make their own opinion.

Those Chicken tacos are amazing. Do not change anything.

The cashier was suprisingly polite and very patient. The food tasted great, but when I opened the taco to add hot sauce, it looked like dog food pasted in the shell.

The food was plentiful the restaurant and eating area was extremely clean that people were polite the customers were nice the food was really really good didn't have that much couple tacos chicken beef tacos in an enchilada but it was great and I'm really pleased good job

The food here is very delicious try out the steak Super Burrito and their Taco specials great portions for the prices, check them out you won't be disappointed.

I spend close to $100 because we are a family of six and food everywhere has gone up. Food is great, Tacos, Nachos de Asada and Fries de Asada ae the best.

Ive been eating here for 20 years. Still and always a favorite. Great plates. Chile releno is a favorite.

Los portables has some of the better chorizo burritos I've had around.
Unfortunately the great flavor of their burritos comes at a steep price. I feel their food has gotten kind of unreasonably expensive in the last few years, but my disinterest in paying is tempered by my love of their food and want to still support the restaurant, so it's a tricky time. Also a few of these places are cash only so that's annoying.

Small place that surprised me with such yummy food. Carne Asada fries were amazing and a rice, cheese and sour cream burrito was simple and perfect. So happy to find right around the corner.

The place is old so the atmosphere is whatever, but you don't go to the taco shop for the atmosphere, you go for the tacos and those things are amazing.

The food is really good and the red salsa is the best! Only complaint is, when it's busy they miss a few items in my order so please check your order before you leave. But really good food.

It was great authentic Mexican food. Thank goodness 😅 The aesthetics were really awesome. I will definitely go back to eat here.
