Very nice people working there. The owner is very nice. His store is always clean. The shelves are clean and well stocked. The food is good and there are a nice variety of meat. Y'all should go there and shop. Don't forget to try out the boudin, regular cracklings and the chicken cracklings

We were just gonna buy seasoning . Then Mr.Kirk met us started talking too us and we had amazing chili dogs and cracklings. Will be back for more . All around great store amazing people .

So pumped to stumble across this place, so far in the week or so we have been here we would def agree that Louisiana people are hospitable but kirk and his staff took it to a whole new level! Every one in the place was just too notch good people. Food was awesome! Highly recommend the cracklin chicken!! Also we had never even heard of boudin before but they took care of that! Hope to see you guys again!

Love this place, reminds me of my uncles butcher shop that I worked at as a teenager. Densely packed with a lot of options that you won't find other places. Don't leave without getting some chicken cracklings!

I have one question to ask, and I wish other regions would follow suit, because I haven’t found any since: Where has chicken cracklins been all my life? These things are amazing!

They have loaded chili cheese frito pies with onions and jalapenos ❤❤❤ delicious if you like a lot of chili ask for more. Regular price 2.99! A deal if you ask me.

Wow, what a fantastic butcher. They have various cuts of meat at good prices, fresh and frozen. Local staples and a lunch counter where we got a couple links of boudin. The pork boudin has a stronger pork flavor and spice than your more rustic traditional places

The best cracklin ever and it's made from chicken! You have got to give it a try! Made fresh to order.

They also have a great selection of meats and specialty meats. I love their boudin, especially their cauliflower boudin. The store brand seasoning salt is great too.

I would highly recommend swinging by. It is even worth the trip from the interstate for the chicken cracklin alone!

Wow. The chicken cracklins.... the boudin... OFF THE CHAIN. Came here all the way from Bossier City, LA to get these. Was not disappointed...

Best boudin! Texture, spice, consistency…. Used to be a fan of Best Stop and Dons…. They can’t compete in my eyes.

This place is awesome!!! There's not a single thing I can complain about. The staff is nice. The atmosphere is cool. Prices are reasonable. Most of all the food is amazing.

The owner of this place is true professional. Going above and beyond for his customers is his modus operandi. He will special order anything you want even if he doesn’t carry it. His meat cutters are very impressive and you can watch them take down an entire beef quarter in a few minutes by hand and saw. Kirk’s U need a butcher simply has no equal.

Always have what I need , and workers are very nice. I send all my family members there. When family come from out of town I bring them there to stock up before going back home.

For those unfamiliar with that it's Chicken Crackling. At Kirk's you can also get a hotdog with chili to enjoy on the ride home. Kirk's specializes in Cajun Meats freshly cut with some already seasoned and or stuffed. Kirk's also offers several different freezer specials ranging in size and price. Kirk's is also a small convenience store.

Blake is a good guy, the plate lunches are better than most places in lafayette. The cowboy stew is the best ive eaten in a long time, recommend to anybody wanting to try good food
