Absolutely love this place. They have a nice deck where you can enjoy the outside while you eat, inside is cozy. Could use some cleaning and dusting though, I am a clean freak, especially in restaurants etc. it needs to be spotless, that is not the case here unfortunately. Also a little pain is that they don't have their own restroom. It is a public bathroom around the corner, you can get the key from a waitress.
Service is super friendly, fast and good, the food is delicious. Been there several times and the quality is always great, never just so so. I wish they had more dinner evenings than just Friday.

Excellent food and excellent service. The presentation is superb. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. One of the best restaurants in Amador County.

Love this cafe! Server is really friendly, and the food is delicious! You have to try the "BLT with avocado" yummy!

We stopped here on our way back from doing a tour of Black Chasm Cavern. Though the outside didn't look promising, the inside was very nice. Our server was quick to bring us drinks and take our order. Even better was the food. This really is a nice place to eat.

We were so happy to find a place where I could have breakfast while my husband had lunch! There are a couple of breakfast items on the lunch menu and every time we've eaten there we've both enjoyed our meals! They are closed on weekends and only have dinner Friday nights. We haven't tried dinner there yet, but they have our favorite Zinfandel so we will be going soon!

It is located at 38°24′47″N 120°39′32″W, along State Route 88. The community is in ZIP code 95665 and area code 209. The current boundaries of Pine Grove include the former mining towns of Clinton and Irishtown. The town also is home to Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park.
