He has a small office and never a long wait with friendly competent staff. The woman who does the breathing test is kind and explanatory to ease your nerves. Dr. Parikh is very through and takes his time to listen to you. I have never felt rushed even when my appointment goes longer than usual. He doesn’t over schedule so you really don’t feel rushed like you do in some places. He even takes time to get to know you to address any thing that may help your heath. Highly recommend.

I needed to take my mother to a pulmonologist and had the great fortune to make an appointment with Dr. Parikh. He balanced professionalism and person ability brilliantly. He took the time to speak to my mother and I, explaining and answering every question without feeling rushed or irritated like most doctors are. It was I and my mother's pleasure to have been seen by Dr. Parikh. The only criticism is that there were two staff members working at the receptionist desk. I wish I could remember their names because one was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly, and the other one should be fired. If by chance you have to deal with the incompetent employee, do not get discouraged from seeing Dr Parikh.

I have gone to many pulmonologists and he is the only one who ever gave personal attention. You are not a number, but a person. He is extremely knowledgable and his follow thru is excellent.
His staff, calls you back when a message is left and are quite efficient.
Most impoortant is that he did see something in my tests and credit to him, he ordered tests and I am thankful because his action saved my life.
And with him my lungs are drastically better than before becomeing his patient.
If there was more stars to be given, it would be ten stars and grateful, he is my doctpr.

The Doctor is very attentive and caring during every visit. I have every confidence in his accuracy and professionalism. I would gladly recommend him to others.

I loved how he explains things so I can understand what he going to do. He also listen with intent and invest in what I am asking or saying. The only thing that is a problem is in trying to get thru ti the office hold hold list call. Leave messages don't get anyway I never get a return call. Frustrating. Believe or not it's still worth it. I have hand many Doctors he is the best yet.

When we first moved to the area almost 20 years ago my wife was suffering from a serious cough. Dr. Parikh was recommended to us and when we called and took us the same day and he stayed in his office after his normal office hours to see her and diagnosed my wife's problem. He was, and is a very caring and professional physician and takes time with each of his patients. Both he and his staff make you feel very comfortable. I recommend he very highly.

I do like the doctor, but I can't understand why weekend doctors or the staff don't notify him when something is wrong

The Doctor is great and the staff is fantastic.

The Doctor is very good. The office staff are questionable at best. Sometimes they do things timely. Sometimes they follow up. Most times they don't. They will wait until the last minute to get you an authorization for a test such as an MRI or CT scan to the point where you may have to reschedule your doctor appointment (as happened to me). In one case they did have an authorization, but failed to let me know (despite repeated phone calls!). They told my spouse they have "2 weeks to get one" (but follow up appointment was in the third week). Forget trying to get on the patient portal, they won't send the link, but they'll tell you they did. I called two weeks prior to an appointment to cancel and of course, the staff couldn't do that either. I got a letter in the mail after what was supposed to be my cancelled appointment stating if I can't make an appointment I should let them know. You simply can't count on them to do much of anything right.

Once you don't have to deal with the front desk it's fine, and the doctor is knowledgeable. He doesn't put you on things or create ailments you don't have. You can trust him. I wish he'd find better staff.

The doctor was very nice, but the front office staff was terrible. I had 3 appointments there and each time I went to find out that my appointment in their computer was at a different time than what they gave me orally and on a written appointment card. She gave me an argument each time saying I was mistaken and confused. I don't care how good the doctor is, if you can't be treated with respect by the staff, there are other choices.
