Impressed...

The place has its simplicity but the food speaks for itself.
Was a little unease with the options ordered but the more I tried the more I wanted.
I absolutely loved the food, the flavor, the consistency, the look, how light it is, you can eat, eat, and eat and not get stuffed.

Price is very reasonable and I can definitely say it's one of the best legit Indian cousine I have ever had.

Everytime I come back, is a new positive experience.

I recently ordered from Taj Mahal Grill & Bar and had an amazing experience! The food is absolutely delicious, especially the Nepali Momo (dumplings). They were perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

The service was also excellent. The front desk guy, Safal, was incredibly nice and humble. He made me feel very welcome and provided great customer service.

Overall, I highly recommend Taj Mahal for anyone looking to enjoy some authentic and tasty Nepali food. I'll definitely be coming back!

Great vegan & vegetarian options. Ordered Chana masala, Vindaloo sauce to pair with my own protein I’d marinate and eat it with at home, and roti. All was delicious!
I adore spicy food so loveee the vindaloo sauce heat & flavor and appreciate that they’re willing to sell it alone.

Wow!! I just ate at the Taj Mahal on West Patrick in Frederick and was pleasantly surprised that every item on the buffet was so delicious. The chickpeas were even amazing! Mr. Karki and was very delightful and he ensured that I had a wonderful experience. I love Indian cuisine and this place is my new fav for a quick lunch without a fast food association. I’ll be back (as the Terminator would say). 😁buddhi Chef and Chef Joshi were great as well!!!!

I've been by Taj Mahal many times and finally stopped in for dinner last night and now I am hooked! Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was fantastic as well! Can't wait to try the lunch buffet next.

We had dinner at Taj Mahal for the first time today and we were very pleased. The drinks, food and service were excellent. B was very attentive during our visit and the prices were very reasonable. We had a sesame honey chicken appetizer that was wonderful! I had shrimp biryanis and my husband had an eggplant dish. Both were delicious!

Good food and service. I was told that the lunch buffet costs $18 during Thursdays and Fridays and $21 during other days. They have enough varieties to fill ones stomach and satisfy the taste buds.

I love this place! When ever I am in the mood for good Indian food in Frederick this is the place I go. Today I had garlic shrimp appetizer and chicken tikka Masala (medium heat). I think I will get bold and try spicy next time. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I feel like really care if I enjoy my dining experience.

They treat both foreign and Indian guest with similar respect. This level of good service is a rarity in Indian restaurants these days

I do love Indian food, and Taj Mahal makes me happy to live in Frederick.
People pass by on West Patrick when they really need to stop in here for the amazing Dal Tadka, which is my favorite Indian dish. Their butter chicken is wonderful as well. The garlic naan may actually steal the show, as it is perfectly crispy, and wonderfully flavored.
It’s a wonderful environment and the service was fantastic. Our waitress, Kim, was just the best, and positivity always makes for a better meal.
I’m not a good photographer, so it may not look as beautiful as it might otherwise, but it’s delicious food. We will definitely be coming back here again, and soon.

Went for the buffet today for just 21 bucks. All the dishes were absolutely amazing, and I loved their mango lassi. Although it was self-service, the staff were pretty nice, which is rare nowadays in restaurants. There was a guy named Shafal who really took care of us during our time there; he’s a really good conversationalist. Loved the food, loved the hospitality.

I had the pleasure of dining at Taj Mahal Grill & Bar recently, and it was fantastic. The place has super friendly and attentive staffs especially a new staff named Safal, he was such a passionate man and made my day better, he would check in every time making sure we had a great experience. Although the chicken tikka masala were absolutely amazing, Safal made it way better. I'd say you now have a regular customer thanks to him!

Ignore the few bad reviews. This food is fantastic and the staff are wonderful! I'm a big fan of the Lamb Kodai and my vegetarian girlfriend loves all the paneer options and the Samosas! We haven't checked out the buffet yet, but heard great things, give this place some love!

This place is amazing!! The food tastes so good, and the spices are warm and spectacular! They had Pani Puri on the buffet, and the waitress made it for us.... twice they were so great. See the picture below. I also photographed most of the buffet. There's a bit more behind that, and on weekends even more!! The meats are fall-off-the-bone tender, and covered in rich sauces. There are amazing little samosas, and a spicy mango sauce for them. I'm hungry just writing this, as I think of what we ate. 100% going back soon!

The food at the Taj Mahal Hotel was delicious and beautifully presented. Safal, the new waiter, was very friendly and gave us great service. Highly recommended!

Best Indian food in Frederick. I went for buffet, it was $19.99 a person, but the food was better than I had expected. Huge variety and good flavors. I would come back and recommend this place. I ordered Momo as well, i highly recommend trying Momo here.

I loved the food. I went for lunch buffet, and it was amazing. Except for payasam. And also the service is really good. Worth the price.

excellent food quality and drinks. i had goat curry, chicken 65, paneer chilli, and shrimp hakka noodle. best in frederick. they made best mojito. i am going back every week. i would also love to try their buffet, heard from many about it. tajmahal rocks - keep it up

Ordered: Samosas, Saag Chicken, Saag Paneer, Dal Makhani, and Dal Tadka… all 5 were excellent! Liked it so much we ordered Aloo Gobi and Matar Paneer to go so we can try more later.
Their current 4.4 rating is underrated, food was very well spiced and delicious.
