Coastal Wine Boutique and Tasting Room

Great experience! I did the international wine tasting and was not disappointed! All I did was say that I did not like sweet wine and she picked out some incredible wines for me to try! Excellent service and great atmosphere. Plan to come back the next time I'm in town 😊

A group of us came in with a local friend to get some wine slushees and they did not disappoint! We all got the cherry sangria which we recommend. Loved talking to the owner about the beautiful Armenian bottles they have and the selection of wine (and knowledge) is extensive.

Also, wine tasting is 5-6 wines for around $12! Amazing!!

This is a must stop for wine lovers!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting ($10) at Coastal Wine Boutique and Tasting Room. Everything we tasted was from Europe. Among the selection were German, French, Italian and Armenian wines. They had an excellent selection spanning from sweet (me) to dry (wife). Maria, who ran the tasting room, was a treat. Think of this shop as a wine importer. Stop into Coastal and enjoy a tasting of some very interesting old world wines.

Best place at the Hammock Shops to try Italian wines. Ms. Maria is the best there. She will tell you about the wines and help you try the best ones. Her wine slushies are the best.

We wandered in to Maria’s shop and were her first customers of the day. She was very personable and polite and we really enjoyed our wine tasting. She however made the experience memorable treating us very warmly and not like just another customer. Her prices and selection are amazing for such a small space. We really enjoyed visiting with her and will definitely return again another time. If you have some spare time and would enjoy trying wines from across the world then I definitely recommend a visit.

First time coming here and did the wine tasting. Rosanna was the bartender and she was so kind, professional, and we had great conversation. We enjoyed talking to her and the wines are so good and different. We were able to try new wines from all over the world. The best part was the cheese it’s to eat to clean your pallet. The store is so cute and well designed. I highly recommend and completely loved the hospitality.

Had my first wine tasting here. Maria is amazing. She is so sweet and unique. She was quickly able to narrow down what kinds of wines I liked. She is great at picking wines to fit your own palet. I definitely recommend coming here to do a quaint little wine tasting.

My mom and I had SO MUCH fun at Coastal Wine Boutique!! We did the wine tasting, which was amazing because they served us the wines we actually enjoyed (they asked us if we liked dry, sweet, red, white, rosé, etc.) and they had the most beautiful wine bottles for sale. HIGHLY recommend this wine room, especially for a low key, fun, and quick experience!🍷

Maria is an absolute gem, so sweet and absolutely hilarious. She made our experience so lovely! The tasting was a blast and the wines were unique and delicious! Ambience is 10/10. Highly recommend!

Maria from Armenia was our tour guide on this tasting and our party of 3 had a very good time. The tasting itself was unique in that she didn't ply us with whites and reds in ascending order of dryness or robustness. She gave us a taste of of a nice but forgetable red and asked where we wanted to go from there. Since we all signaled dryer not so sweet our tasting quickly went to reds only and she picked our samples from California to Italy to Armenia (of course!). Not your typical tasting! All good!

If you've been to the 21st Ave. location and felt like home, then Pawleys Island store is a utopia of groovy vibes and amazing people. Not to mention The best wine selection around hands down. They also have very cool hand blown and handmade glass decanters shaped in all kinds of cool figurines!
I buy all the ladies in my family and my friends these and they love it; nothing like it around. The owners say that the bottles are handmade in Armenia, pretty cool.
Located in the hammock shops the whole complex is an awesome open fresh air markets that feels like your in Europe. Your able to walk around and feel like you are somewhere other then South Carolina. I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great time wine tasting and enjoying fresh Mediterranean tapas. Try there fresh hummus an spinach pies...yum. All made in house. Thank you for the mind opening experience!

One of the hidden gems of the Hammock shops. Wonderful service & outstanding variety of wine. Original yet cozy atmosphere. We had an absolutely great experience at there wine tasting event that occurs everyday! Do not pass by if in the area, and ask for the specials. They got the best deals on their wine selection. Best of the Grand Strand.

We wine tasted on Monday and Tuesday and both servers were excellent. We had such a good time talking and tasting really good wines.
