Captain Jeff is incredible. He was very knowledgeable and worked hard to get us on top of lake trout after a slow start with salmon. We got lucky and had a double during the day as well! Would highly recommend!

I fished with Capt. Jeff in April 2021and it was a blast. I caught my limit of really nice Brown's. It was my first charter on Ontario and Capt. Jeff made it a memorable day. Captain Jeff was ready to rock as soon as we got to the dock. We headed out on the lake just as the sun rose. The fish didn't hit right away but the Captain didn't give up; he kept searching and we ended up with our limit on lake trout. Great experience and rocking music to boot! I would fish this charter again in a heartbeat.

5 star charter. Perfect boat, all the right equipment, and a super capable/knowledgeable captain. Knows all the spots and is good with communication before and during. Very helpful but not too involved. Jeff is a good guy, full of stories/jokes, and could have a second job as a DJ....knows how to pick a soundtrack. Also very hospitable. Brought the rest of the fam to meet us at the dock after to grill up the fresh salmon and trout. We caught our max. Everyone had a great time, kids included (smiles to prove it, you just can't get from tablets and video games). Thanks again Jeff.

When I think back to my voyages with the Argonauts and their numerous stories of conquest; it was only simpletons training for my ultimate quest. For that day came with a voyage with Captain Jeff. Into the lair of the deep beasts of Lake Ontario that heralded triumphs beyond measure. Let the trumpets sound – “FISH ON! FISH ON!!”. Aided by the lighthearted banter delt by a seasoned curmudgeon, many battles with the colossi ensued that day. Enticed by the experimental fishing lures developed by untold ages of research, many Kings died, a few eluded the capture. Their graffitied blood upon the decks bore witness to the battle and surrender. I have sworn my eternal allegiance to Captain Jeff and Big Hit Charters. Since this day, all my days are filled with dreams of the next encounter. My heart is filled with the reverberation of the words of Captain Jeff – “PUMP UP! REEL DOWN!”

Captain Jeff knows what he is doing!!! The four of us caught our limit (12 total) in just over 3 hours. As you can see from the picture they weren't little guys either. This salmon weighed in at 24 lbs. Captain has a great sense of humor and made the trip enjoyable. We will be back next year for sure. Book your trip, it was certainly worth it!!!!!!!!!!!11

My brother and his friends went out fishing with Capt. Jeff this morning. They had a blast and caught this slob (with many others)! Will be booking another charter soon.

Captain Jeff is awesome! When we arrived for our charter everything was ready to go. We boarded and were on our way promptly. Jeff took us out and put us on fish within about 15 minutes and we all limited out within a couple hours! Jeff is always a pleasure to work with and we always have a good time and catch a lot of fish! We already re- booked for next year!

Captain Jeff was great. My wife and I, along with two of our friends, hired Jeff to take us out in mid-June. We came back with 6 lake trout (easily 20 lbs each), 1 king salmon, and 1 brown trout. It was a great day on the water and a great day of fishing!

I stepped on the boat and saw how clean and well maintained it was then saw the gear was also cared for in a meticulous manner. I knew it would be a good day. Captain Jeff did not disappoint. A beautiful mid May morning with flat water & I still caught my limit. Well done Captain! I can’t wait to return from south eastern MA, maybe in August. Thank you!

Had a great day fishing, took my brother in law out for his 75th Birthday! We limited out in under 3 hours. Jeff was knowledgeable, and professional. He had a fantastic play list, so we were catching fish and listening to tunes. Will be back!

Update: Just went out again with Jeff, awesome day! Had my son home for Father’s Day and could not have had a better day. We limited out and Jeff worked hard to find fish. I have a ton of salmon in my freezer!
