Thomas Michaels' gallery is stunning. My husband and I are so pleased that we happened upon their place in Camden. There to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, we ended up meeting Thomas and his wonderful staff, Lyn and Nora, and working with them to create a new setting for my original wedding ring.They were friendly and professional, and they made the whole long-distance process so easy for us. I absolutely adore my new ring, and look forward to doing business with them again in the future.

We (my husband and I) can't say enough good things about Thomas Michael, his wife, his staff, and his deep expertise and love for jewelry. We went to the store at least thee different times to design a custom engagement ring (which I love). Each time he gave us incredible service and world class education in design, gems, and the history of Indian metals, gems and jewelry design too (my husband is from India). He is a wealth of information and has such passion for his craft. My now husband wanted a very special piece of jewelry to reflect our unconventional proposal, where by I asked our close artists friends to write in 200ft letters "Will you marry me?!" on the road in front of the farm I grew up on in Belfast Maine, so that it was visible from a small charted plane as we flew over. He said, "yes!" So, since I scooped his chance to propose he wanted a very special ring, which is exactly what Thomas made us. Thank you again and again. We will back again and again!

Thomas is the GREATEST! Got an expensive piece of jewelry stuck on my wrist and multiple other jewelers tried to get it off. Thomas had it off in 15 seconds flat! Plié so friendly and nice opened the door even though they were closed. Beautiful stones and craftsmanship. Will definitely be doing a little shopping here in the future!

We have had outstanding experiences with Thomas Michaels Designers. First Thomas created our wedding rings. He listened carefully, made suggestions, and designed exactly what both of us wanted. His work is top quality, fast, and incredibly reasonable. Months later, we came back with some old, broken gold & diamond jewelry and some vague ideas for a ring. Thomas met with us, came up with several designs, listened so patiently, and crafted a unique and stunning ring that exceeded every expectation. The design and craftsmanship are outstanding. Thomas, Nora, and everyone in the studio are beyond professional and helpful. They really worked with me to ensure that I had a ring that I was delighted with at a price that I could afford. I would not go anywhere else.

Recently I popped in Thomas Michaels’ lovely shoppe whilst visiting Camden. My Tiffany bracelet had become tarnished as I had stupidly forgotten to take it off before getting in the hotel’s hot tub. Thomas cleaned it beautifully, and offered to clean my diamond also, which certainly needed it. The service I received was superior, and the atmosphere of the boutique spot on. Whilst we waited I spied many treasures that dazzled me, as the creativity displayed was not your run of the mill jeweller’s offerings. Thomas and Ian were fantastic and helped me design my wedding band from start to finish. It came out exactly like I had hoped.

I was referred to Thomas Michaels Designers to have a Rolex watch appraised. I had never been before, and was immediately struck by the beauty and warmth of the jewelry and the environment. Thomas examined my watch with meticulous thoroughness, sharing all the details of the watch throughout his examination. It wasn't long before Thomas determined my watch to be a fake. I appreciated the time Thomas took to examine it so thoroughly. I was getting ready to leave when Thomas asked when the last time my diamond had been cleaned. It had been a while, and he offered to do a quick cleaning for me on the spot. He quickly noticed a few of the prongs supporting the diamonds were broken, and had me inspect the damage with the help of his viewer. He shared his surprise that the diamonds hadn't fallen out. He had a quick solution to repair the prongs, as well as enhance the beauty of my family heirloom while maintaining it's original integrity. On further inspection, Thomas was able to give me a little history on the diamonds as well. Although I was a little disappointed my Rolex had no monetary value, It got me to Thomas Michaels Designers. That watch and Thomas saved something that is priceless to me! I can't express my gratitude for Thomas enough. I had been taking my rings elsewhere for years and told they were in good shape. When I looked down and saw a diamond missing, I knew it was time to find someone that would take proper care of them! I got just that with Thomas. I appreciate the time he took to speak with me about my ring, and explain the changes that he would make (with no pressure to do so). The work he did was so beautiful- my rings have never looked better! It was also extremely fast. I called 1 day ahead of what he was thinking, and he had just finished them! I hope that everyone in the mid-coast knows that there is in fact an honest jeweler around!!

Michael was so kind as to fix a bracelet my husband had given to me a few days ago on our wedding day without asking for anything in return. His boutique has such a kind and inviting atmosphere. Michael and his employees are all such genuine and welcoming people.

Custom designed an engagement ring for me, great pricing on the stone as well. Gorgeous ring, she still gets compliments on it. Awesome follow up too, free repairs for any loose stones (had a lot of small channel set stones, got loose once or twice, to be expected). A true craftsman. Got some nice pens in his store too, inexpensive gift for guys.

Everyone there was so nice. My fiance went to a few different places when he was looking for a ring and he said this was the place he felt the most welcome. When I needed the ring resized they were able to resize it and get it back to me the next day at no charge. I would definitely recommend going there for all your jewery needs
