I had the pleasure of finally coming back here after years of absence and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the same vibe of feeling like I'm entering into someone's home remains. Its inviting and warm, it feels as though I am entering a home of an old friend for a meal. I noticed some items like the seafood plate that used to be there is not but I can forgive that as that's just me being nostalgic for times long past.

I had the vegetable beef soup which was good, I did not finish it however because of the green peas which was a turn off for me but overall that was a pleasantly hot and tasty dish. I decided to try the patty melt instead of defaulting to the half chicken dinner. The patty melt was delicious, bread was crispy, crunchy and the meat was tasty. The onions were great tasting and the fries were nice and hot.

I am glad to see that Sundowner's still stands the test of time and I hope it continues to remain a permanent facet in San Bernardino for many years to come.

We had our Christmas dinner there and all staff were very nice. Manager made sure everything was clean and ready before we got there.
Their prices are affordable and food is delicious, I totally recommend the Porter steak, I loved it

Ate dinner with a friend, most enjoyable atmosphere. Clean, friendly, and quite quiet. The dinners were reasonably priced with portions to match, cooked to exact specifications.
So we'll pleases, I ordered 2 more dinners to go, for a few more friends. They two, most impressed. The honesty, the ease of ordering, quality of ingredients, and satisfying cooking capabilities of the chef's, will keep me returning for decades. Thank you- Sundowner's

The wife and I own a business a few blocks up, so we definitely eat here a lot! The food is really good, prices are great, and the service is fantastic! It can be a little confusing if it's your first time at a cafeteria style restaurant, but all the employees are super helpful and will explain everything! The only downside is there can be an odor from the restrooms. I absolutely do not recommend you sit anywhere near them, it can be bad enough sometimes that it'll turn you off your food. There's clearly some issue with the sewage line, it's not the restaurants fault. Just sit toward the front of the restaurant, I promise you'll thank this internet stranger for the advice!

We came here cause we needed a quick place to eat and my daughter wanted a steak and I saw that the steaks were $10 for kids. We didn’t realize how inexpensive it was here. It’s not the absolute best but it’s definitely good for the price and we will definitely be coming mg back when we are in the area. The desserts are super cheap too

Place seems a bit old but food and price are perfect. We got 3 beef ribs for 15$ and steak for same price. Coffee and water you can refill yourself. Almost like a self serve place. They call your number as you wait. You canget salad and or soup with your meal. Friendly people.

Only have ever been to one and it was this location, the prices were amazing and the food was always really good. They have the good buttermilk ranch as well, super cheap everything. I usually got the 1/2 pound bacon supreme lunch burger to go which they box everything all up for you. Will definitely recommend

Always love coming for lunch, they have great prices, good portions, the chicken with wild rice soup is Soo good.

I always love a good Sundowners trip. I've been eating here with my family since I was a kid with my Grandma. It's still a family favorite for good eats and food times😋

The staple for san bernardino .... the food is ok but it's cheap and it's the famous spot for sb they took down the pictures use to be cash card is now excepted idk if it got more expensive now but it was known as cheap

Food was very good, hot and came out quickly. Service was just ok. Not very friendly. Resteraunt was clean and had a nice atmosphere. Parking is limited.

Oh my God I love it here. The restraunt in Fontana is not as busy as San Bernardino location. Prices are the best. Food is so Good!

Honestly I have been coming here since I was a child and I'm always thrown back with nostalgic Vibes and memories going with My Grandma and Mom and Aunt's and Uncle's they restaurant used to back in the day decorate for every HOLIDAY PERO YA NO (BUT NOT NO MORES THEY SAID CHALE TOO MUCH WORK) LOL BUT EN SERIO Sundowners is the Spot where You get YOUR SALAD OR SOUP OR BOTH AND YOU PICK WHAT YOU WANT TO EAT AND THEN PAY, SIT, AND WAIT FOR A BIT AND GRUB I LOVE THIS PLACE AND IT WILL ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS HAVE A SPECIAL PLACE IN MY CORAZON HEART ❤

Sundowners Family Restaurant in San Bernardino has been here for many years. This a great place to eat with many menus along the walls for hungry people to choose from with very reasonable prices. I love the Teriyaki Platter, and their Clam Chowder is so tasty. If you like good food at reasonable prices try Sundowners in San Bernardino.

Me and my wife went to sundowners on Tuesday, she ordered the steak shrimp and chicken combo for dinner. I myself ordered the pork ribs and french fries, I was thoroughly surprised and happy that all of the food came out absolutely amazing we’ve only been here a few times and every time we come it’s always great the ribs surprised me as they were super super tender and even the bone was breaking because of how soft everything was I would highly recommend this place!

My family has been going to Sundowners in Fontana for over 30 years. We moved to San Bernardino and were soo happy to find out they had a 2nd location here. Everything on the menu is fresh and delicious. Best blue cheese ever.

Not the fanciest place but the best meals for a low price! They may be low price, but the food still is great for the cost. Love coming here for their amazing daily serving of clam chowder! They now accept credit cards, with a small charge.

Family restaurant, I've been here since 1999. Great food and service.
