Great Scott! Computer Services

Scott recently built my gaming pc and i love it. He has great communication and is very friendly. He’s quick too! It only took 2 days to have it fully built and all programs downloaded etc. Highly recommend him for anyone needing help with their laptop/pc etc. He can do it all!

I needed help with an on again off again problem with my PC. After contacting on the phone 5 other businesses, Scott was the only person who showed sincere interest in figuring out the issue, asked me specific and relevant questions to assess whether or not he might be able to help. I brought my PC to his business and he patiently spent an hour testing my PC ultimately providing me with directions on how to proceed. Fee for his time was nominal. Next time I have a problem with my PC, Scott is definitely the person I will contact first.

Incredibly helpful, I'm new to building PC's and wanted to learn how to upgrade the one I have, and eventually the whole tower. Scott was great and helped be go through all the bit on my motherboard, and troubleshot issue potentials with me. I love to learn and he really helped me!

Called Scott on a Sunday around noon. He was available and I dropped the PC off around 1pm. He called me the same afternoon saying the PC was fixed and ready for pick up! He also performed software updates and got rid of annoying pop-ups without me even asking! Top notch service! Highly recommend!!

I enjoyed working with Scott and feel that has he did a great job fixing my son's computer. Through his diagnosis, he determined that the power switch did not work and proceeded to install a new one. Since that day the computers worked great and I owe the credit back to Scott for fixing it. I highly recommend you choose him for your next computer project since he's friendly and honest. Two attributes that are rare in business these days.

He was very knowledgeable and helpful! My computer abruptly stopped booting, I brought it over and he worked his magic. Informed me to order a power supply, cleaned it out, popped that bad boy inside and hooked me up! Great guy, very helpful and easy to work with. 100% recommend working with him! Scott has been a wonderful technology advocate for me for many years. I have never had a problem with my computer that he wasn't able to help me with. His expertise in the area of technology is amazing. He helped me for years while I lived in Clemmons, NC. I have now moved to Raleigh and continue to call on him whenever I need assistance. Not only do I depend on his technology assistance, but he shows great patience while assisting me. I would recommend Scott to anyone needing technology advice and help.

I wanted to add this update to the review I submitted a while back (which was also 5 stars)....I got a virus in my computer this morning. I dropped it off to Scott and he had it fixed within 2 hours. Super-fast service and so reasonable!

I began using Scott a number of months ago, based on other good reviews. It's very convenient for him remote in when there's a problem. His response time is impressive and he's usually able to get things resolved quickly. He also has made a house call when needed. I think his rates are very reasonable, particularly given his expertise and typically quick resolution.

Just like your car needs regular maintenance, so does your computer. Scott has been keeping my laptop in tip-top shape for years. Just stopped by today to have it cleaned up, old temp files deleted, and my email checked for spam. It’s running faster and I feel confident it doesn’t have any malware hidden in the hard drive I highly recommend Scott for all your computer and printer maintainers and repairs,

I turned my computer on and I first thing it showed was Boot Device Not Found! Then it says to install an operating system on my hard disk. (Where did Windows 10 go???) HELP!
After searching Nextdoor and Google for computer repair I came across many companies and individuals.
Great Scott had excellent reviews and I called him first.
Bingo!
He answered immediately, I told him my problems and he understood and comprehended the entire dilemma that I faced. He offered a tentative solution assuring that I would not lose my thousands and thousands of pictures, documents, videos, letters, you name it.
I took my computer to him, only Minutes off of Silas Creek Parkway at the country club exit. He works from his home which is a big A+ in my book.
This was on a Saturday in the early afternoon. Just an hour later he text back and told me what needed to be done. Everything could be saved and he could upgrade my memory from 500gb to 1TB SSD and restore my operating system. He could also increase my RAM from 8 to 16 GB. All of this at a very reasonable and low price. I immediately said YES!
He had the parts by Sunday and by Monday morning it was ready to be picked up.
Everything works perfectly and my computer is Super super fast. I turn it on and in seven seconds I am computing.
Not only is Scott a brilliant IT expert and extremely nice, he explains every problem in a way that can be understood in Layman's terms.
He now has a lifelong customer and I highly recommend him to everyone.

Scott was very clear about communicating expected costs, labor, turnaround time, etc. He evaluated my laptop quickly, found a part the same day, and overall my experience was very good. I liked knowing for sure the extent of the damage and what the next steps would be for the repair. Great service!

I am in the IT business and could not figure out an issue with my laptop. I was able to reach Scott last minute going into a weekend and he was kind enough to walk me through the fix. He could have easily asked for a minimum payment over the phone just to speak with me (as some do) but was kind enough not to. He earned my respect as well as my loyalty for future repair services. I've known Scott for a couple of years now. He's always been helpful with both hardware and software issues. Now, however, he has become even more helpful in resolving software issues with his remote access capability.

Without either of us having to spend time traveling, he was able to resolve within 15 minutes a software issue I had, and anticipated all the questions I had about it. He was right every time when he would say, "I got you covered."

Scott fixed my “email problem” which actually was such a data problem that I’ve suffering from for at least 2 months. I was further surprised when I got home that he freed enough data for a system upgrade that been sitting for months that I was just willing to live with, or consider a new computer.

Scott was responsive, honest about his expertise, efficient, and VERY reasonable. I could not be more pleased; Scott saved me precious money I was ready to invest in a new computer out of desperation.

I bought a new computer two days ago, and per advice from a good friend contacted Scott to come over and set it up correctly. He responded quickly to my cry for help and drove over in a rain storm to help me the same day I called!!. First off he laid on the floor and untangled all the snake nest of cables and connections that had been cluttering up my space behind my desk for a decade! (zipped tied them all together so they won`t get like that again). He then proceeded to patiently click, cut, paste, delete, and down load all the things that I need to make my computer function correctly. I now have the programs, software and antivirus that will allow me to use the computer as I need not just what the manufacture thought I might need.Result, my computer is humming along like a high price Ferrari now! Unless you set up and fix computers for a living you should contact and expert like Scott to do it for you. Would you trust your barber to remove your infected gallbladder or would you want the best surgeon in town to do it? Same thing with computers now a days.I use to say "Oh my son in college can do all my computer stuff" Wrong go Bongo! I love my son but in comparison to Scott he does not know Jack! It was worth every penny I paid to have things set up right from the jump start! If I have problems in the future he can now remotely fix them from his home without even coming over to my house. A++ service!!!!!

I would highly recommend Scott for any computer troubles. He’s very quick and reasonably priced. He diagnosed, fixed and returned my computer overnight. Very personable as well. It’s always good to know a dependable computer tech.

My Dell laptop needed the DC power board replaced. Scott ordered the part and replaced the old board very quickly. He reassembled the laptop like it had never been taken apart and cleaned it really well to boot. His rate was very reasonable. Highly recommended! Thanks Scott!

I highly recommend Scott for his computer services. I had a broken monitor that needed to be replaced at a retail location and he was able to get a new monitor to spec and get the POS computer up and running in no time. Very honest and a pleasure to deal with! Thank you Scott!
