Paddy's is a nice pub and restaurant in the Cotton Exchange in Wilmington North Carolina. Excellent 5 stars and as good as being in Belfast or Dublin. The food is really good. The fish and chips, Cole slaw ,steak french fries and fried Okra were delicious. The Okra was a first for me and it was delicious fried. The building is historical and in the Cotton Exchange building. Service was excellent.

This is an adorable Irish pub with very friendly customer service. Reasonable prices, decent food, and good drinks.

My friends and I went here for a quick bite before visiting the beach and ended up staying longer than planned!

The atmosphere and aesthetic is very comfortable and kitschy; exactly what you’d expect for a classic Irish Pub. There’s some great outdoor seating, and it’s connected to a small back alley shopping plaza that my friends and I adored.

We highly recommend the pub fries and fried green tomatoes - couldn’t get enough of them! Great fish and chips, too.

We will definitely visit again!

The most amazing food I’ve had in a very long time. The Sheppard’s Pie and Fried Green Tomatoes is food I can eat on a daily basis.
If you want a great restaurant to eat at, this is the place.

I've been here several times now. Kitchen is always quick and the food is always good. It's not like super Irish so cool your jets. But the ribs are actually really really good. Fish and chips are good. Shepherd's pie is good, not like out of this world but good. The braised corned beef sandwich is good. Can't go wrong. It's a classic place.

We stopped here for drinks after walking the Riverwalk and shopping in the Cotton Market. My husband has Irish Heritage and we love trying the local Irish Pub everywhere we go, and he was of course looking forward to having a Guinness.

We came in behind another couple and sat at the bar. The bar tender gave us all menus at the same time, and was attentive and answered questions we had. She pretty much took all our orders at the same time and served us quickly. I sometimes struggle in Irish Pubs as I am only a wine drinker. I unfortunately never developed a palette for Beer and have long since lost my joy in drinking liquor/cocktails. I ended up having the Pinot Noir and it was really good! I was impressed with the number of wines they actually had available on the menu.
The atmosphere transports you to a true pub feel. We even ended up chatting with and getting to know the other couple at the bar. Just such a charming and fun place.
We wish we would have had time to play darts and eat, but had time constraints.
Highly recommend if you like a "Family" feel and authentic Irish Pub.

This place is wonderful! I don’t eat out much, but when I do, Paddy’s is my first choice. The food is amazing, everyone’s quite friendly, and I love the theme going on here. I usually order the ribs, and the meat falls off the bone!

So this is what you would call a hole in the wall kind of place. Really good crabcake sandwich and the fried green tomatoes are awesome. If you are looking for some great pub food and nice atmosphere please look no further. Been in business for over 40 years.

Paddy’s Hollow has one of the Best French Onion soups in the area. I will focus on the French Onion Soup and the Jalapeno poppers in this review. They also have great burgers, salads and French Dips. The menu has a great variety of foods. I have eaten at Paddy’s for years and have NEVER had anything less than well cooked, served and prepared food. The French Onion soup is made with Guinness which adds a great depth of flavor. The presentation is beautiful with the cheese melting down the side of the bowl. The amount of cheese and bread are really appropriate and balances well. If I could change one thing, I would add more bread into the soup like Brasserie Du Soleil does. (That’s another review). I prefer the dark and flavorful stock that defines this soup. The onions except for one stray piece were perfectly cooked, being neither over or under cooked. The one stray piece appears to just have been an onion that was only partially cooked. The Jalapeno poppers were perfectly fried and served at the correct temperate. Very hot, but not to a ridiculous level.

I do want to mention that during the last two visits my wife and I have had. We experienced the most personable and wonderful server we have ever experienced there in years. The servers are always friendly and efficient however, Jay H. stands apart at a whole new level. While still tending bar, he also acts as a server. He amazingly can balance both jobs, and his smile, easy going attitude and personality never falter or suffer given the rapid pace and expectations of his multiple responsibilities.

I love the food and the ambiance here. The crab dip and smothered chicken are a couple of my favorites, but I’ve never had anything I didn’t love. It’s cozy the way it’s tucked away from everything. The entrance has a nostalgic feeling. This is a can’t miss place to eat!
