CVS Pharmacy

This CVS pharmacy staff should train all of your other locations’ staff. They transferred prescriptions from another company in another state. They were courteous and did it quickly. Even when they did not have the medicine, they transferred the script to another store where it was in stock. I am so appreciative.

Every employee here is wonderful. They’re all friendly and informative. I’ve been struggling with a few CVS in recent months, and am blown away by the customer service here compared to the other locations in Venice.

Gabriel store manager-knows customer service. Took over and effortlessly solved photo machine issues when initial employee advised me machine was broken and she didn’t know when it would be fixed Gabriel swooped in, saved my photo album and did so smoothly with a smile and superb personality!

CVS is our go to store for all manner of medical and household items. We rely on CVS for prescriptions. Their pharmacy staff is quite knowledgeable and helpful

Staff is fine but CVS is a mess. They auto refill too soon, so you end up with old medications and they send texts telling you to pick up your prescription at 9am on Sunday even though the pharmacy isn't open until noon on Sunday.

Average for pharmacy prices , some good some bad !

Absolutely worst pharmacy. Every pharmacist that works there has different rules that they make you go by and think they know better than your doctors about what, how much an how long you should be taking medicine. Having no clue about your medical history.

We used to love CVS pharmacy. Sapan was the best pharmacist I've ever known. He was competent, punctual, and kind. The rest of the staff were helpful and friendly. He moved to another store earlier this year (2022) and the pharmacy appears to be in a death spiral.

In August 2022, my wife had to have her prescriptions submitted three times, because the CVS staff could not find them. It was later discovered that they had received them. My wife went to pick up here prescriptions the next day as instructed, only to find they were not filled. I came back later in the afternoon, only to find two of three prescriptions were filled. What a huge waste of time.

My father had medication sent to this pharmacy, and the manager tried to send it to north port, where my dad hasn’t lived for 2 years!!! Then when the prescription was sent back the manager decided to cancel the prescription and send it back to the dr.s office. If the manager had bothered looking, my dad got medication from that pharmacy two days ago. My father is in pain and low on medication now while we try to sort this mess out with the dr.s office. Needless to say we will be using a different pharmacy! That manager should be ashamed of themselves!

Went in to buy Sodium Chloride 5% ointment at the pharmacy. The price had doubled from about 2 months ago. This is generic, and I have heard that the brand name has experienced a supply problem. For CVS to double the price on the generic is VERY BAD FORM. This pharmacy is located in a target, so I used to buy other things while I was there. Notice the use of past tense. I will not be going there anymore.

Waiting for over 15 minutes to speak to someone in the pharmacy..really..why have this option?? Not acceptable..
