Rinconcito Latino Honduran and Mexican Food

First time I eat this restaurant, as a Honduran I was truly impressed by all the flavors of the food. My husband ordered pollo con tajadas and finished the entire plate, I had the basic breakfast and it was soooo good! The beans were so delicious, I will definitely come again. Only thing I will say, the atmosphere is a bit off, it’s dark and the place is small.

Wonderful! I had the shrimp tacos, and the shrimp was cooked perfectly! Most restaurants tend to overcook the shrimp, but not here!

Absolutely delicious!! My husband and I were passing through the area and stopped here for lunch. Everything made fresh, including flour tortillas made to order. Vibrant atmosphere and excellent service.

The food is delicious and the place is very clean and the service is great.

I highly recommend this business..I had been wanting a anafre and it was good. The carne asada was delicious and the baleadas were great. Stop by and try them out..

We ended up stopping here by accident. Best accident ever!! The food was amazing, and the staff was super kind. I had the best vegetable fajitas I've ever had anywhere! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Very authentic.

Food was absolutely fantastic
I would only recommend this place if you are feeling the need for south of the boarder food. Food had a lot of flavor and price were inexpensive!

Best Taste and Best Qaulity of meat and nice environment. Owners are very friendly and they make sure that customers are happy.
Owners work hard and cook good food.
Close to interstate 95. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We were driving back from the beach looking for something to eat and didn’t want the same ol’ same old’ stuff. My hubz looked up Mexican places off the highway and found this option of a mix of Honduran and Mexican conveniently located off Hwy 70 and not too far from I-95. At first glance you might pass on it but we are adventurous and we wanted to try it. Totally worth it! Family owned business- I talked to the owner who was there cooking and her husband was in the kitchen. We tried the Honduran menu and it was fantastic! Since I have never been to Honduras, I can’t speak to how authentic it was all I can say is that it was delicious!!!! Plantains and steak with some delicious sauce. There was a salad or slaw blend of veggies on top of the plantains….. yum!!! The waitress spoke English as did the owner but it is not their native tongue. (No prob w me- just letting u know what to expect- you CAN communicate) The menu was in both Spanish and English - very helpful. First thing they brought to the table was fresh hot tortilla chips and homemade fresh salsa all to die for! Just nice people trying to make it and I definitely wanted to leave an awesome review to encourage others to give it a try. Can’t wait til we head that way again!

Sometime you check into a place , the food the hospitality and the amazing people feel you home. Best Honduran Mexican food I have ever tried, so back to this place when passing by 95 corridor. If you are in Smithfield are a must visit.

Enjoyed some very tasty tacos today. We had carnitas, al pastor and chorizo, these were generously filled and very reasonably priced. The fresh red and green salsas served with them were delicious.

Can't wait to return, will try one of their homemade soups next time or perhaps one of the Honduran dishes.

Food and atmosphere was everything we love about latin american cuisine. Very clean and beautiful presentation. The food was as good as the resort hotels. We plan to become regulars.

Delicious Honduran food! We enjoyed everything! We had two plates with trajadas - the fried chicken and mixed meat. Will be returning!

Super food and friendly service, I highly recommend, we had the Honduran chicken and steak, excellent. We'll be back to try some of the Mexican dishes.

This place has only been open for 8 months but they have great food! Definitely have to try it if you have not!!!!
