Lauren is awesome. I had lived in Dallas and just moved back this past year. Finding a great stylist was very important to me. She came highly recommended by a family member and I am so glad. She has met my every expectation. Thanks to her for being one of the best stylists that I have had the pleasure to meet.

Lauren does an amazing job! My daughter has very thick hair, and it was getting a brassy color from our well water. She did the perfect combo of highlights and lowlights! We love it! Love the new location, too! I got to shop while she got her hair done. I can see why Lauren was voted best stylist in the Pine Belt!

Lauren does amazing every single time. i’ve been going to her for well over a year now! she’s super organized and punctual as well. I never fail to recommend her to my friends and co-workers. she is always spot on with my requests and is an amazing person over all. she never disappoints. My hair is healthy and super blonde. She’s very knowledgeable with what she does overall, as well as the products she promotes. she always prioritizes your desires and what would be best for you❤❤❤

Lauren simply is the best. My entire family goes to her (besides my husband who doesn’t have hair to cut lol)! Not only do we all go to her, but all of us have completely different hair types and she masters them all. When my oldest, who has naturally super curly hair, comes home she always gets her hair cut by Lauren. She lives in Charleston SC, but only lets Lauren cut her finicky, extra curly hair. My other daughter loves vibrant colors and Lauren has done vibrant pink all over with purple undertones—it was amazing! She even went out of her way to go pick up home care products while processing for her to use in between appointments. Even my teen son trusts his hair to her! Truly, we are so glad we found her almost 2 years ago and won’t ever go to anyone else! There is a reason she won Best of the Pine Belt. Book with her. She’s talented, kind, and listens to your needs from upkeep, budget, to styling. Thrilled she has her OWN space now to thrive!

Being new in the Hattiesburg, Mississippi area, I truly expected to use a couple hairstylists before finding one that not only did great work with blonde, but had a great personality. To my surprise, Lauren was my first and only stop. Lauren took her time, made me feel so welcome, and I left with a great head of hair. I’m been with her for a little under 7months, and I refuse to go anywhere else. Lauren also does my daughters hair, and my daughter is just as happy as I am. Lauren has a gift and you would be doing yourself a huge disservice if you’re not using Lauren for all of your hair needs.

Lauren has an excellent eye for color, and when your done it’s better than you asked for in this department! My haircuts are always beautiful and styled in a way that is flattering. If she makes room for you, don’t let anything stop you from sitting in her chair!

Lauren is THE BEST hairdresser in Hattiesburg city hands down. She’s updated with all the new hair trends like haircuts, coloring, extensions, etc. I have been her loyal customer since she worked at AVIDA and followed her to her studio when she started it. Her studio provides privacy for each client and uses the best hair products out there. Her prices are reasonable and I always highly recommend L. Smith studio to everyone I know.

WOW! Just wow! Lauren took what I wanted and executed PERFECTLY. She is probably THE sweetest person and defiantly the most deserving. The new salon is absolutely beautiful with such a relaxing and professional atmosphere. But her work speaks for itself. I couldn’t be any happier with my hair than I am right now! 10/10!!

Very good. I have thicker hair and sometimes go a long time between hair cuts. She took care to start with a long guard instead of diving into a short one and really pulling my hair while it cuts like i have experienced in the past. I had several specific requests and she did not hesitate to give me what i wanted 10/10 will use again.

She did an awesome job on my daughter's hair. She is super friendly and very knowledgeable. My daughter was extremely happy with the results which in the end made me ecstatic!

I wanted something new with my hair, and gave some admittedly vague instructions, and she somehow read my mind! She gave me a completely new style of haircut that I absolutely love! I have never been happier with my hair!
