The Marquette Cafe

Probably my favorite cafe in Madison!! nice and quiet ambiance, pleasant decor, very tasty food, beverages don’t have that rich of a flavor but still good. In the summer all the giant windows are open so they allow dogs inside and even have treats! There is a cute little patio in the back as well!

We had the loveliest time at The Marquette this morning! The staff were all so kind and welcoming to my dog! Thank you & can't wait to be back soon.

Super cute place. Comfy seating with cushions. Spent hours here studying. Friendly staff. I got the banana bread french toast and a mocha. Both were super tasty! Also, I hear they are dog friendly so will definitely bring my dog next time :)

Shhh! Don't tell everyone about this place! Just your closest friends. Very cool cafe, kinda hidden on Baldwin St. limited parking, but it's worth it. Reasonable prices on everything. Great coffee. I had a Kale smoothie that was actually really good, my friend had a yogurt parfait that was also very good. Friendly wait person/barista. Quiet & pleasant decor.

Absolutely love this place. Very affordable, and the food/drinks were pretty good. It's a nice calm place to work, read, or catch up with a friend. There's also a ton of sun, which would be really nice in the winter. Staff was so nice, and there's a good number of outlets.

Cheap no good quality. Weird hotel vibes but $2 loose leaf tea plus vegan and gluten free options! The staff are very friendly as well!

Such a gem! Beautiful morning to sit and have breakfast in open air style cafe. Very relaxing atmosphere. Good coffe, food and pastries. Nothing fancy, just easy. Affordable prices.

I love the decor and ambiance, it's very relaxed. The staff is top-notch and friendly. Being vegan, I love all the offerings. They recently changed their weekday menu, which is more limited, so I will likely just go on the weekends when the delicious full menu is served.

First time here and was really impressed. Really great kids' menu with a beautiful smiley face pancake, great food with a huge side selection and super reasonable prices. Atmosphere was peaceful on a Saturday morning when many Madison restaurants are packed. The staff were all kind and warm and had a really positive experience with their interactions with us and their neighbors from Willy Street. Definitely a hidden gem!

Such a great atmosphere, all the employees are so friendly and the food is absolutely incredible!! This is a must come to place. Very reasonably priced for very good food

We had the chai waffle and the French toast. Both were incredible!

First time at the Cafe. Had to learn how to use kiosk to order, but staff offered to help if I got stuck. Sat in front room by open window. Food was very good. Quantities not large ( nothing to take home ) but was a good value for very modest price. Sandwich and two sides for less than $9.

We stayed one night last year. It was very comfortable, but no breakfast. Now they have breakfast everyday. It is a very good breakfast, too, a lot of choices. It is different that you order by tablet, and pay with credit card. They bring the food to your table, but otherwise you do not really have personal service.

Great price for graet food. Stayed at the hotel Marquette, which was also super.

I happened to be in the neighborhood and popped into the Café on a whim.
So glad I did as my breakfast was served hot, was fresh and delicious.
Kudos to the Chef !
Ordering was easy and the space is inviting.
The prices are most reasonable too!

Had breakfast with a friend. She had French toast and I had Omelette meal. Both meals were great with quantity and quality at reasonable prices. Clean space with friendly staff. Definitely will come back!

Great breakfast spot in the heart of the Willy St neighborhood. Good selection of sweet and savory items. Dine-in or take-out ordering can be done online or through an on-site kiosk. It's also a good place to people watch and catchup with neighbors passing by, either sitting at the long bar top, back patio area, or at a table looking out the large street-facing windows.

Best breakfast burrito I've had, hash browns crispy perfect, and a fruit bowl intricately packed with mixed fruit. The cook is cookin' here
