Cheese steak for the ages! Jordan maintains the tradition in this Southside gem that has been slinging steaks since '72. Vintage vibe and even has a record player and a stack of albums. His copy of Credence Clearwater Revival's "Willie and the Poor Boys" caught my eye. They have cheese steaks and fries down for sure, if you're in the area, stop in, if you aren't in the area, make a reason to get here. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped here after an awful experience down the road at G&M warehouse(very poor service by the owner) The woman at the counter couldn’t have been nicer and the cook had my food ready to go very quickly. The steaks were outstanding and cheese and gravy fries were great too. If your looking for a great meal with great service highly recommended.

A hidden treasure off the beaten path in South Scranton. This place has preserved its character over the years (it feels like you walk into a 1970s time warp), but that's its charm. I got their Large 2 foot cheesesteak and found it rather flavorful and an outstanding value for the cost of $18.50!

Best steak & cheese hoagies in Scranton, just wish they were open past 6pm. That's a killer when you don't even think about ordering dinner until 6ish.

Whitehouse is a delight. Good (and very fast) service, along with great steak and cheese hogies. Delicious french fries taste like they are from a county fair too. Would definitely recommend!

I've been going to this place since I was a child. I absolutely love their steak and cheese hoagies. Personally it's my favorite in the area. It's an older place but very nice employees and I never have a long wait.

Not much to say other than I never had a sub made so quick to order. In a time where everything has skyrocketed in price, this was a very moddest priced sandwich. Definitely recommend.
