Great Mexican food joint! Staff is fantastic and food is great! Sports games always on, margaritas the size of a lake and the vibe is always positive. Atmosphere is cool and they never rush you. They have plenty of tables and even a party room. Beers are big and ice cold and fresh. Kid's menu for your picky eaters!

The food was good, and the service was great! Nice atmosphere with the right amount of tv's and the music volume was just right, not 2 loud.

I enjoy the chips and salsa while awaiting my entree. The burrito barzon is my favorite - shrimp, chicken and chorizo in a burrito also loaded with rice and beans. It is topped with pineapple and caso cheese sauce.

Acoustics are a bit loud for my tast. But, none the less we enjoy going there the food and service are fantastic. My wife says best toastadas in town.

We had a great dinner here. Prices are seemingly high but the food and service were worth it. This will be our local Mexican fix from now on. See you there.

It is truly authentic Mexican. The people are friendly and welcoming. Eat there atleast twice a week.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. From the outside it doesn't look like much and it is in a small strip-mall in a small community. But, once you enter, you find a well-appointed interior, friendly staff and an overall great atmosphere. The food was excellent and moderately priced. Another great surprise was the margaritta - it actually had some kick and compared to so many restaurants which skimp on the fun parts of a drink, this restaurant did not. We will definitely go back.

One of my favorite local spots. We've never had a bad experience here. Best fajitas youll ever have . The frozen margaritas and daiquiri and very good aswel.

We have been regulars here for quite some time. The service is always fast and exceptional. We now bring our 1 year old son and they always do a great job catering to him and getting his food out promptly. Everyone is always so friendly.

The BEST Mexican restaurant around town. Everything is just so good and filling. Every time I go there I am full to bursting. And when I say everything is good, I mean EVERYTHING is good!! Even the simple complementary salsa and chips. The water is good! I definitely recommend. And the service is great :)

We like El Picante. Probably the best standard Americanized Mexican within 30 miles of Maineville. I got the Pollo San Jose this time. It was delicious and well seasoned. The chicken breast wasn't dry and was well seasoned. The shrimp had the perfect texture not over cooked. The "special sauce" is a chipotle sauce mixed with cheese sauce. It's not hot. If you like a little more heat I recommend the tapatio hot sauce that's on the table. Very well flavored.

My favorite dish here is an extremely spicy shrimp dish that has the most amazing flavor. I do warn you though if you have any acid reflux I recommend taking a few antacids before enjoying in the dish.
Also if you love margarita I recommend their house margs.
If you would prefer a drink with less sugar I recommend ordering a tequila tonic with lemon. It is perfect.
