Jenn and her husband did an amazing dessert table for my wedding which made us go back to see if they could do a smash cake for my son’s first birthday and they exceeded our expectations once again! They made an amazing cake on short notice and my son loved it

We did a gender reveal with cannolis and it was an amazing experience with Carolena’s Bakery! Communicating with them was a breeze, they responded quickly, and they were so accommodating.
We let them know ahead of time what we wanted to do and how many cannolis we wanted. We came in and gave the card (the one from the doctors that had the gender) and then left for 15 mins for them to make the filling and fill the cannolis. They filled the inside with the colored filling and then filled the ends with the regular ricotta cream filling so you wouldn’t see the colored cream inside. They took a lot of care and precaution to ensure no hints of colors were visible from the outside.
The cannolis were VERY delicious. They were GF (gluten free) and comparable the best cannolis you get in Boston (like Mike’s Pastry).
Highly recommended for the delicious cannolis, their fun and welcoming atmosphere, and their great personalities that show that they truly care.
Also had their croissant egg and bacon sandwich. It was VERY good as well. Definitely coming back for their extensive pastries selection (many are GF) and great food.

Saturday we called with a last minute request for a gluten free chocolate torte and gluten free cannoli for Sunday. We also got gluten free lemon bars. Everything was ready by noon, absolutely delicious, and reasonably priced. I never leave reviews but was so impressed in every way by Carolinas!

Carolena's is a new bakery in my neighborhood and it's great. The owner-bakers are local and very accommodating. Their chocolate cream pie is all homemade and made to order. I asked for extra whipped cream, so they made some on the spot. When I told them I prefer whipped cream to custard cream in my eclair, they made one to order immediately. Their stromboli is good too, and it freezes well. Overall, highly recommended.

Completely charming small artisan bakery offering a good number of gluten free options along with traditional cakes, pastries, and breads. We stopped in to sample some cupcakes, they were boldly flavored and had delicious buttery cake with luscious stiff frosting piped on top. Even the black coffee we got was delicious! I think we'll be stopping here on every visit to Narragansett.

A bakery with connections. Phenomenal streudel, banana bread, stromboli(Italian calzone). Rick and Jen are down to earth good people. Gluten free options and they are sensitive to my soy allergy!

I've been gluten free since 2019 and am always looking for bakeries with gf items. Carolena's was the first time I found a bakery with gluten free eclairs and I wanted to jump for joy! I was so happy to be able to eat one of my favorite things again. The eclairs were superb as were the cannoli and lemon cupcakes (such strong, delicious lemon flavor!). I love that it's a small family run place and will definitely be back!

Went in looking for Christmas cookies and they were quite accommodating putting together a bountiful tray of assorted cookies and biscotti. We had some from Calvitto’s and Carolina’s and much preferred Carolina’s. Will be back.

We had a large order for tiramisu and crumb cakes for a birthday celebration at the start of our vacation week. Everything was incredibly good. So we picked up a dozen cannoli, eclairs, zeppole and lemon bars for our last night in Narragansett. Truly the best gluten free baked goods I’ve ever had.

We got an assortment of treats including turnovers, cupcakes and muffins. All were delicious. They also have savory stomboli as well as Gluten Free and vegan options!

Carolena's is one of those places that when you find it you will be torn between A) wanting to tell all your friends about how great this new bakery you found is, and B) keeping it a secret from everyone you know so you can have all the cookies, cannoli, and stromboli to yourself. However, once you meet Jen, Rick, Jane, and everyone else who makes this bakery possible you'll want nothing more than to spread the word! The bakers here are as friendly as they are skilled at their craft, and they are always experimenting and putting out new offerings. I highly recommend the classic stromboli/chocolate-dipped cookie combo, but the new chicken cutlet sandwiches with the basil aioli they've been serving are also to die for. Can't go wrong here!

Rick and Jenn are amazing bakery specialists and put so much love and care into everything they bake! We are excited to walk up to our local bakery every weekend. They even named one of their Stromboli treats after our daughter so you may get a Luma if you ever happen to get in there when they’re coming out of the oven because otherwise they usually sell out in minutes!

Really like this place. We go back often because the offerings change a lot. Best part about it is that they are nut free!! Also some great dairy free and gluten free options. Only caveat on the nuts is they share the space with another restaurant that does use a few nuts, but they don't use the kitchen at the same times.

Delicious! In the past I would only stop by when I was in the neighborhood. Now I take a special trip.
Its worth the few extra miles.

Great little bakery! Lots of gluten free options that are quite delicious!!! This place is a gem for regular and GF baked goods in South County. Not totally gluten free but an excellent selection!!

Delicious! Got the calzone like spinach thing and two Linzer cookies.

Can't talk. Eating. Num num num num. Don't know what's better. The Stromboli or the pastries, but I'm going to keep going back until I figure it out. You should too. You wont be sorry.

We sampled a few different things here and everything was top quality at a good price. Very friendly staff also. Highly recommended
