Mike is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. I recently brought my computor to him when it started making a lot of noise. He was pretty certain that he knew what the issue was. A couple of hours after leaving the computor with him, he called to say my computor was fixed. The problem was exactly what he suspected and the cost was what he had predicted. I have been using Formosa Computors for about 30 years with complete satisfaction every time he has worked on my computors.

Unbelievable service in 1 day! Mike was able to clean my computer after we had been hacked. His price was very reasonable and his attention to detail was 5 stars.

Mike was amazing! My son cracked the screen on his computer, and Mike discovered that it was still under warranty. No charges!! Through conversation, I mentioned a water-logged computer that another business in town could not repair or recover data. He said, "Let me try." He did it!! I have been using Formosa computer for over 20 years. Mike, the owner, is very knowledgeable and can build u a computer or repair your desktop or laptop. Mostly importantly is that he is HONEST and he quickly does the repair work on your device.

Brought a friends custom pc in after it stopped putting out video. He was able to test and confirm the graphics card had died same day. He also was nice enough to install a temp card extra card I had laying no around. Fast and knowledgeable. Didn’t try to upsell me on any unnecessary parts or repairs. Would definitely recommend coming here for a quick and easy fix

Excellent service at a good price. I've had two different laptops repaired at Formosa; each time I'm surprised by how quickly the repairs are made. I have had the battery replaced and the hard drive replaced, with an Solid State Drive, which tripled the speed. I highly recommend Formosa, which has been in business over thirty-five years.

Man this guy Mike is insane good and just so easy to work with. Extremely fast just like the computer when you get it back. One of the truly hidden gems in Baton Rouge and I will never use anybody else. He has some incredible deals on used computers also and top notch quality for a very decent price. My computer stopped working before I started working on a major photo project. I immediately contacted HP support who was only able to provide minimal support and still couldn't get my computer to work. I desperately needed my computer to finish my photo job so I decided to take it to Formosa Computer. The service I received from Mike, the owner, was exceptional. He was very professional in explaining what the diagnostic process entailed and when my computer would be ready. He repaired my computer in a day and it is running better/faster than it was before. I highly recommend Formosa Computer Services & Repair for any computer repairs.

Easy to work with! Everything was done exactly right and On Time! Having used other shops in Baton Rouge, this Formosa Computer was WAY WAY better... and less expensive. 99.99% of what you need is in house so there is none of that, "well we got it ordered duh" stuff. I HIGHLY recommend this place for repairs and/or to have one built for you!

I have been having trouble on my hp laptop being stuck on black loading screen and the sir got it repaired in a day! He explained the causes and what not to do to prevent damage. He also explained throughly what he was going to do. Very good service🙏

I take all my computers to Mike as I have always received fast & accurate diagnosis & repairs for a very fair price. Today I brought him a 17” HP Laptop with a hinge problem that was causing interruptions in it staying on. Easily one of the top five best customer service experiences I have ever had. Being someone with not much computer knowledge, Mr. Mike called me multiple times to ensure that I fully understood each and every step of the process. I was in a tight time crunch when the main computer at my shop went down and I was back up and running in less that five hours. Completely blown away by the experience and cannot recommend them enough!

I am a solo attorney in Baton Rouge. My desktop stopped working on Tuesday morning. I tried every suggested fix on Google, but nothing worked. On Wednesday morning, I started calling local repair shops. I won’t name names, but the first four shops I called were either apathetic or completely ignorant. When I called Formosa, I instantaneously realized I had stumbled on the right place. The owner was hands on and interested in helping me. I brought computer in Wednesday afternoon and within 2 hours, I was presented with diagnosis and estimate. The work was completed Thursday morning. My hard drive was replaced and my data was saved. I will never go anywhere but to Formosa Computers!

He got my data off my broken laptop, and walked me through the steps to get the key to access the data from Microsoft.
