I used to live near the ReCYCLEry when it was tucked away off of Greensboro. I would walk by it nearly every day on my way to campus.

Often, I’d take a beat to appreciate the borderline scandalous public display of wordplay. (grammar n@tzies and never-emojers abound… and they’re mean!)

I actually thought it was gone. As in, gone-gone. 😥

So what serendipity to walk by this corner last night. 🙃

Yes, that is a sharks head, rendered in…iron rod? And protruding unobtrusively from the heights of an outer wall. (Where else?)

I fixed up 2 bikes from here. They have all the tools and support from volunteers to help you get the bikes in road ready condition.

This is the most amazing place ever. Such a great concept of fixing up donated bikes. Offers the tools and know how needed and the volunteers are so kind.

Today we reopened and cleaned up the space. All set for new year and summer repairs and recycling.

A great place that promotes cycling and self reliance when it comes to bike maintenance.
