Gold Star

Gold Star has some of the best great tasting chili!!! As a native Texan we do not have Gold Star restaurants in our great state. If we did, I would definitely make it one of my favorite places to eat. This location is very clean inside and outside as well. This Gold Star is located in a busy intersection and its means of egress is very accessible to the major highway. I highly recommend Gold Chili for your next meal if you are craving chili.

Gold Star was a hamburger joint before they decided to focus on chili, and it shows. I love their burgers. This location has an attentive, professional staff. We have been there numerous times and they have never messed up our order. They have always been friendly. We will definitely keep going here.

Everything is always perfect and delicious. Staff are wonderful! We do not dine in often but we pick up through the drive-thru and order online. We have never had anything missing or incorrect in our order in 20 years of going to this gold star. I discovered their chili salad when looking for something on the lower calorie side and it is delicious.

If you haven't tried their burgers yet, you are really missing out. This has nothing to do with Cincinnati-style chili. The type of burgers are thin and are somewhat like Freddy's, but much better. Now for a little about chili. As far as chili goes, the cheese coneys at Gold Star are the best Cincinnati-style I've had. I like all the ones I've had, but this ranks #1 for me. Try the burgers if you haven't - and if you have then I hope you enjoy your next one like I will! The crinkle cut fries are great, too!

Had a burger and a Coney tonight. It's still great!

Arrived just before 12 pm. Super friendly staff, fast service and great food. The coneys are the best in the area. Must try the bacon chili cheese fries as well. If you have a sweet tooth, the shakes are amazing. I recommend the strawberry shortcake shake! 🥰

I even placed a to go order for my dog to have a couple plain hot dogs and no one batted an eye or looked at me weird. Zero(my dog) says they were perfect! 🐶

The young girl with blonde hair who works in the drive-through is an exceptional member of staff. Today, I made a mistake with my burger order, but she quickly corrected it in a friendly and professional manner, showcasing her value as an asset to the company. Not only is the food fantastic, but the entire staff is friendly and accommodating, making every interaction feel like a pleasant experience for me and my family.
And let me tell you, their burgers are nothing short of amazing. You're truly missing out if you haven't had the opportunity to taste them yet. And while you're at it, don't forget to indulge in one of their milkshakes, as they are some of the best you can find anywhere.

This remains one of my most favourite fast food chains of Cincinnati. I go here often 😅 absolutely love that they always label my stuff as vegetarian.

GoldStar feels like eating at home since everyone is so nice and friendly. Well it’s nicer than eating at home since their coneys taste better than mine!

Went for a fantastic burger and crispy fries! Was not disappointed. Fast and friendly service at the drive thru also. Love the Maineville location. Always get great service and fantastic burgers. Didn't get a shake this time. Maybe next. They are so good!

The service I had there recently was out of this world. My picky son just wanted a coney plain no bun. His meal came with one but they gave him two. The food came out quick and hot. They were fast with our refills. Thank you Maineville Gold Star!!

I really enjoyed this location of Gold Star chili. I came in on a military appreciation day for the veterans Day celebration and they really took care of me as law enforcement and former military. I definitely would recommend this location to anyone the staff was very friendly and I was in and out with my drive-thru order within 5 minutes.

Had heard good things about the food front my girlfriend who grew up in the area. Happened to be driving by and stopped to grab a bite. So glad I did! Amazing experience. As a first timer, the waitress was wonderfully informative and caring. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

I've been going to this location for about 12 years. The service is great. The staff is friendly. The food is always lot and delicious. My husband tried a burger for the first time and loved it. We are chili lovers, but it's nice to have other really good options. We were impressed with the remodel of the store. It looks great!

I'm sorry to change my review. The past had been positive, today though, not so much. Problems with the cash register created a backup, and, cold food. I saw no assistance from mgt. . The server kept her cool. Speaking of cool, we ate the meal and moved on. This was the Maineville store. We will visit Blanchester from now on.

We went back to Maineville today because it's been a while since our last experience. Everything was great. We enjoyed everything and plan to go back. Fingers crossed for the future.
