Melanie did my wedding photography and she went above and beyond listening to every detail that was important to me. She is very pleasant to work with and fun too. She helped to create looks I didn’t even imagine. She made my entire family feel included like the day was special for them too. I loved the boxes and books she makes with the photos. She also has other wedding vendors she trusts and loves to suggest, helping my wedding planning to be a more smooth and easy process. I would love to book her to do portraits for me and my family again in the future.

Melanie and Brian were absolutely amazing! They made us feel comfortable from day one and were incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They did our engagement shoot as well as our wedding. All of our photos turned out beautifully and captured our day perfectly! We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Choosing MBM was our easiest choice when it came to picking who we wanted to photograph our wedding. We had an intimate destination wedding and Melanie and her Husband travelled all the way to Maine to spend a few hours taking our photos. They were both so calm and very intricate in their work. They made sure they both had an idea of what we specifically wanted photographed and how we wanted things to work during our ceremony and for portraits. Our portraits really captured how truly magical our wedding day was. We can’t them enough for everything.

Our wedding was very untraditional as we planned it in 6 weeks. My mother in law found out about Melanie and Brian through a coworker and connected us. Melanie was was very professional and quick to respond right off the bat. Being such short notice, everything went so smooth and was very organized. Also being such short notice, we didn't get to meet Melanie and Brian before our wedding day. On our wedding day it was like we had already met them they made everything so comfortable and easy. We got our pictures back very quickly and they all came out amazing!

Melanie and Brian are fantastic! Melanie was extremely helpful and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process. Our wedding pictures were ready practically immediately! We continue to get comments on how amazing the pictures came out. We are so happy with the pictures and appreciative of Melanie and Brian! Will definitely be using MBM for future photos!

This review is long overdue, but Melanie is an AMAZING photographer. She made us feel special, got the shots we needed, and was very accommodating.

Melanie is amazing at what she does. From start to finish, she is responsive, timely, professional, kind and in tune with her client’s needs. My daughter got her senior photos taken by Melanie and she was so comfortable throughout. I will definitely be using MBM Weddings again in the near future!

The second I sat down with Melanie I knew we were going to work with her. Melanie's personality alone was enough to seal the deal. She is the kindest, most caring person I have ever met. Fortunately for us, she is not only a wonderful person but she is also a passionate photographer. I've had the pleasure of working with Melanie on a couple of surprises for my husband including our engagement photos and a boudoir session and she also took our wedding photos. We took our engagement photos at Fenway Park and Boston Public Garden and Melanie went above and beyond to make sure we got every shot we wanted - even though it felt like it was 150 degrees out. Whenever I've worked with Melanie, you can just feel her excitement and love for what she does. I wish I could describe how much I love the work she's done for us but I can't so I will let the photos speak for themselves. I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with capturing such precious memories. Melanie, thank you so much for putting so much love into your work. We will cherish them forever.

Such a great photographer and person! Melanie makes the entire process of any photo shoot so much fun. She is personable, funny, and creative. She instantly makes you feel comfortable and like you have known each other for years. I can happily say that we gained more than a great photographer in Melanie. She is now a family friend that we look forward to sharing all of our milestones with.

Melanie is amazing! She was with us every step of the way from our engagement pictures to our wedding. When we first connected we emailed back and forth a bit, met prior to our engagement pictures and talked about details. She's easy going and easy to talk to, which is definitely important! She gave us suggestions for our wedding when we asked (not just photography related which was helpful when you're overwhelmed and just want to ask someone who attends lots of weddings!) She really did her best to make sure we went over all the necessary details prior to our big day. My husband and I both felt comfortable around her and her husband and especially love how many different pictures we have. We are so happy with how our pictures came out and definitely recommend MBM. First, I have known Melanie longer than her siblings have. I want to get that out there and out of the way. Melanie is a fantastic person. She has also created some of the most cherished pictures in my life - pictures of my children. She is the most talented local photographer that I have come across. You should hire her.
