I tried the Turtle Sundae, and while the ice cream itself was average, the toppings made it really good. The heated pecans added a delightful warmth to each bite. Despite the long line, the service was prompt and the staff were incredibly friendly. There are plenty of seating options, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy your treat. Overall, a pleasant experience that I would recommend, especially for the toppings and great service.

Classic example of what a local ice cream shop ought to be: Tons of choices, generous serving size and all at a good price.

Ask any local where to get ice cream in Perrysburg and "Mr. Freeze" will always be mentioned. Be sure to try their famous Turtle Sundae - it's their signature dessert!

Personal fave is the orange fruit whip and vanilla swirl - these will keep you coming back for more!

Mr. Freeze is great. The menu is pictures up on the glass where you order - others have posted photos of that here, so take a look. Otherwise you can ask the friendly staff to steer you in the right direction. I went up and said I like peanut butter and chocolate and hate fruit flavors in my desserts. Thus I was introduced to the Buckeye Sundae. If you get a junior it’s enough ice cream for an adult, but a small sundae has the distinct advantage of topping at the top and bottom of your sundae. It’s amazing, and even though it’s a lot of ice cream, the quality of toppings at the bottom can’t be beat.

The biggest issue I run into with new comers is ok, it’s cash, but how much cash do I need? Well, search no further - here is a picture of the prices in advance so you can have an idea of how much you’re gonna need. Don’t forget the tip!

EDIT: quickly became one of my most viewed photos. So I took more. You’re welcome.

Best place in Ohio to get ice cream!! They've been around for well over 30 years, maybe more. They have giant servings, most places large is their small! The prices are amazingly cheap, I tipped the server as much as my $2.25 soft serve cone! They have unique sundaes that are crazy good & so affordable! Truly the best place in Ohio! Just remember, they only take cash. You won't be disappointed!!

If your idea of perfect ice cream is a massive sundae then this is for you. There are no hand dipped flavors or novelty treats. Just a really large portion with lots of toppings. And be prepared, they only take cash and you often have to wait.

Mr. Freeze is an ice cream place like no other. They’ve been on business for decades now, and it’s always apparent why! Their soft serve is tremendously tasty, and they offer an enormous variety of other ice cream creations.

For newcomers, keep in mind that they are cash only!

Mr freeze is a staple in Perrysburg and the long line is never enough to keep us away. Service is quick and friendly, selection is endless, and prices are still low. The value beats out all the competition. The lot and ordering area are always clean and having picnic tables at the park is great for sitting together while enjoying ice cream.

I go there every week and enjoy going. That being said I order the same thing each time and I have never been charged the same price for a vanilla baby cone dipped in chocolate. I guess the listed menu prices on the wall are just a suggestion and/or the price depends on who waits on you.

Great ice cream. Tons of unique Sunday options. My wife likes the blue elf (pictured), I always get the mud Sunday (pictured), and we tried the s’mores Sunday (pictured) just for fun. Friendly service, clean, and always busy. Can’t go wrong here.

While always busy with a relatively slow moving line, the adjacent park makes it a great family outing. A massive menu and very fair prices makes this a spring and summer favorite. Soft serve, sherbet or shakes all have proven to be delicious from here and with the toppings / mix-ins of your choice, near endless options are possible.

Amazing sundaes! Cheap and you get an awful lot of ice cream for the price! We got three baby sizes, I don't know how people would even finish a large one! Bursting with flavor and just so so good. Friendly staff. Cash only!

The photos are for smores and German chocolate cake sundaes. We also got a turtle sundae. All were equally great!

Oh My Goodness!
I'm an out of town visitor, but I'm contemplating going for a nice 1 hour drive for some ice cream.
The size of these Sundaes are huge!
Its hard to order I'd you've never been here. There are signs posted all over the front glass, and Lines extend out the building. So, you gotta look around lol. Jump in line tho, this is a happening spot. We were excited to pull up, find a lucky parking spot, and realize this is one of town gems! Little league uniforms, moms and kidsz, dates, everyone was here.
I got the BuckEye Sundae, vanilla ice cream with peanut butter sauce on top, in between, and with buckeye candies on top.
Hubby got the white chocolate something.
We got large, paid 9 dollars. (I'm use to paying cold stone prices, around $14).
We were excited for the price, and excited it lasted me all through our night walk.
Dare I say, too much PB, and I'm a PB addict.
Go, Go, Go.

We like this place so much, that we make the trip from Findlay. Their new strawberry soft serve is fantastic. Everything is massive- sundaes, cones, everything. This photo is a medium & 2 larges. We’ve never been disappointed. Just remember it’s cash only.
