This quaint little diner is just lovely! The exterior has no big bells or whistles to draw your attention to, so you just might miss it as I have many times over until today when I saw someone coming out the door. Just an absolutely cute little restaurant. You walk in the door and it reminds me of a country store or a deli in the movies. The aromas coming from the kitchen welcome you with excitement. My waitress Raven made me feel right at home and took care of me right away. So I ordered a hotlink & burger withal the fixings and fries.
The place quickly filled up, probably with the locals. It was truly a pleasure. If you're driving into El Dorado it's on the right hand side the moment you get into this small town. I ordered RIG#1 burger..The burger was a very thin patty not overwhelming but grilled to perfection with that wonderful taste. I kinda felt like I was at someone's barbecue. Anyway stop by it's sweet 😋

Hidden gem on S Main - off the beaten path technically. Owner and staff are great! Food is delicious! Every time I’m back in my home town to visit family this is a must. I recommend forgetting your “diet” and just enjoying great food cooked like it should be when you go here. See you again! Of course, thank you all for taking care of old Harry and putting up with his sas!

If you are looking for a new restaurant to try in El Dorado, try this place out! My husband and I came to eat here for a date night and we both thought the food was really good! The waitress offered me some homemade ranch to dip my fries in and it was so good! Overall very friendly atmosphere, clean, and great food!

Called to find out what they served for breakfast. The lady on the phone was very helpful. I placed my order and when I got there it was ready. Food is delicious and will definitely be back for breakfast!

I adore this restaurant. Abby and Larry are fantastic!!! The food was sooo good, service was excellent, but the best thing of all were the peanut butter pie and giant cinnamon rolls!!! Soooo good!!! Gotta check this place out if you are anywhere near El Dorado!!!

I had the 1/3 pound "Blowout" Bacon onion cheeseburger with BBQ sauce and ranch on a pretzel bun all in perfect balance. I am not sure why they call it the blowout, but it was fantastic. I will have to go back and try more! Hopefully soon.

Stopped here after spending the day at el dorado state park. Perfect place to get a taste of El Dorado. The fries were amazing! Great menu selection.

Great place to stop for lunch. We enjoyed burgers, sandwiches, and salads. Good food and good service.

This small place is cozy friendly place to go sit and eat. Food is wonderful old fashioned comfort food. Very friendly waitress who came by our table numerous times to see if everything was ok and kept our drinks full. Prices are actually cheaper then so many other places and good size portions. Actually we took home about half due to ordering appetizer that filled us up. They were awesome. I highly recommend this small place if your wanting a small quiet atmosphere and good food. Now we are wanting to go on Fridays to BBQ/smoked meat in the evening. Thank you for our wonderful experience

Went out for something new with a friend. Had the hamburger and fresh cut fries. Came right after the rush. The lady was super nice, didn't rush us. Place was clean. A good place to repeat at.

Food was absolutely delicious. Got the Geronimo meal. Everything cooked to perfection. The owner seems like a great guy cooked amazing food. Great attitude. The waitress on the other hand had a bad attitude & doesn't know what manners are. Overall I give this place a 5/5 because its super hard to find good help. She did her job, she was just very unpleasant. The owner makes up for it with his amazing attitude & his ability to bring joy with his food!

I took the girls to lunch and even though we are all picky, we were each able to find the perfect dish. Very good food, great friendly service, and a homey small town atmosphere. Loved it!

I love the food here. The staff is great. I like to call ahead, and it's usually not a long wait for my food to be ready.

Stopped through El Dorado for breakfast and Black Gold Grill showed up as a breakfast option. So glad we didn’t skip this place, best pancake I’ve had and it was cooled to golden perfection. My “Geronimo” breakfast was amazing, I’ll definitely be coming back.

Super friendly made a slight altercation that 1 of their sandwiches had no problem commendating to it and the owner actually came out talking to me about it.

A country atmosphere with the chicken fried steak that was seasoned just right. Lights are high. Noise level is low. Seats are benches and small tables. They serve wine and beer and soda products. They keep homemade pies on hand. And they're open for breakfast also all in all it was a quaint place to find in El Dorado. It is off the beaten path. It's a hamburger fry/ chicken fried steak kind of place.

Atmoshere is old diner which we love. Cooks are masters with potatoes. Fresh made hashbrowns for breakfast and fresh cut fries for lunch. Burgers are great and the standard breakfast is fantastic as well. Stop in when passing thru El Dorado.

My family and I have ate here several times and have loved the food and service every time. The owners aren't afraid to help and you almost always see one of them. It's nice to walk into a restaurant and be greeted by the owners. Friendly, quality service and great food!
