The Queen Bean Bistro

This place is absolutely amazing! From the moment we got there to the moment we left it was such a beautiful experience. We came here today (Mother’s Day) with no reservation and were told it would be about a 15 minute wait. Not bad at all right? While waiting, we were offered coffee or tea and given the menu to look over. Zack brought us our coffees. We waited less than 10 minutes before the hostess came out to seat us. She made magic happen, honey. Zack happened to also be our waiter. He was so kind, well mannered, and attentive. I have to say this in case it isn’t clear already, their customer service is top-notch!!

The lattes are so good and there are quite a few options to choose from, you honestly can’t go wrong with anything you decide.
It was so hard to choose what we wanted to eat because everything on the menu seemed so tasty. We ultimately chose Stella’s campfire French toast and lavish monkey. Both were absolutely delicious. Stella’s campfire French toast is a must try for sure! Almost everything is house made, down to the peanut butter. It reflects in the food. Zack recommended Chef Sal’s hot cakes which we will be coming back for.
This place is on the boardwalk so it has a gorgeous view!

Finally made it to The Queen Bean Bistro, located on the 1st floor of Vassar Square, right off of the Boardwalk. Don't let the current state of affairs fool you (cones set up because they're working on the building!), just go on in and if you're like me, you'll be pleasantly surprised to find a really cute cafe. Room for a family & comfy if you're flying solo. You can even sit outside with your pet! Chef Sal offers a few yummy vegan options and believe me, I'm trying to nudge him towards adding others! (Vegan french toast? Vegan scones? So many options.) The "Queen Vassar" was just enough for me. My hubby had the "King Vassar" with vegan sausage (which I did not particularly like, but he was a fan-so that one was a toss up). The "farm toast" was herby and delish, topped with vegan butter. I enjoyed my Just Egg scramble. I asked to add mushrooms, onions & cheese. It was perfect. The latte was fantastic, served in a very lovely mug! Even if you just wanted to pop in for a coffee, I'd highly recommend The Queen Bean Bistro!!

We came here for a delicious lunch but they have amazing breakfast and dinner options as well. Our lattes and sandwiches were absolutely perfect and extremely tasty. Thanks to all the friendly staff! Sal and Beau were both there with family and other friends of ours. What a wonderful experience, we will certainly be back for dinner soon!

Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Queen Bean.. the staff and ownership were great. Started with the Michael Anthony (burrata), followed by the veal, lemon pound cake desert and some excellent double espressos. Zach our waiter was attentive and fun.. highly recommend. Did I mention ocean front?

Top 3 burgers I’ve ever had. King George smash burger was delectable. Coffee is spectacular. This place is right by the beach with great views, great ambiance and great people. The head chef and owner Sal is the man. Recommend you check it out while in town or on a stroll down the boardwalk. 10/10!

The Queen Bean Bistro is my new go-to breakfast/ brunch spot! The atmosphere is comfortable with views of the ocean. The food was AMAZING!! I got the Vax' adillin breakfast sandwich and my partner got the Matilda special and everything was better than expected. The customer service was exceptional! They walked us thru the menu and recommended dishes to try. I also got the Snickers Latte which was incredible and came in a really cute mug! I would recommend this place to any one! We will be coming back to try their dinner !

Loved everything about this place! The atmosphere is cute and chic. We went for dinner and there was low lightening and candles which I LOVE!

When we went, there was a special Valentine’s Day menu but they were very willing to alter items since I do not eat meat! Everything was delicious! The server thoroughly explained everything to us and it was obvious she eats and loved the food too which is always a good sign.

They have an amazing latte speciality menu—we ordered the brown sugar cinnamon vanilla latte and WOW! I want another one right now!!! It was amazing!

We sat for a while and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere & the food! Such a great place for a dinner date! I highly recommend!!!

Food was amazing came out in a timely manner fresh and hot. Service on point the server was very kind and accommodating. Atmosphere very chill and cozy like a mini diner but make it 5 star feel. Will come back frequently

Food is delicious. Highly recommend. Great flavor, great wait staff. Reasonably priced. Our family enjoyed it. Our waitress gave us some great suggestions for things to do in the area.

The Queen Bean is the new Queen of the Shore! The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm and welcoming and is only enhanced by the friendly and attentive staff. And the food...wow! Everything is delicious and fresh! There is something for every taste! From the sweet and decadent Stella's French Toast to savory and bold Smokey Western Omelet, the menu is perfectly crafted to serve a wide range of preferences. The fresh baked herb bread is phenomenal, you'll be asking for more for sure. Chef Sal and his team have a real gem here and we can't wait to come back to try lunch and dinner. This is a must visit for your next trip to the shore!

I wish I can give them a million stars ! The staff’s attention to detail, their kindness are impeccable. And the food … their Stella toast is fire and their omelettes (French and Greek) are one of the tastiest I’ve ever had ! The food was sooo good we came back the next day to have the same breakfast. Keep it up guys, they will be our forevevr breakfast spot whenever we visit AC

My friends and I decided to have breakfast here and we were blown away by the views of the ocean right from our table, the friendly latte barista/hostess/waitress, and Chef Sal! They were both so nice, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. I noticed the photographs hanging around the restaurant were nostalgic Ventnor! It feels good to eat in a place that’s so local, and down to earth. When the food came out we were all blown away by how delicious it looked (it tasted delicious too). We will definitely be back! And can’t wait for summer to get here so we can sit outside and listen to the waves while we sip the yummy latte’s! (I had the avocado toast with 2 poached eggs! It came with fresh fruit and hash browns! I also had the Galaxy Latte)

The Queen Bean Bistro stole my heart. The food is outstanding. You can taste the love and dedication Chef Sal puts in every dish. I highly recommend this hidden gem, 10/10 across the board. Support the locals 🤍

We LOVE the queen bean!! We have been with queen bean since they first opened. Recently, they have taken it to the next level. The avocado toast is absolutely incredible, along with everything else on their breakfast and lunch menu. We just had dinner and it did not disappoint. The branzino was well seasoned and the pasta was cooked perfectly with a very rich sauce. The whole staff is incredible. Giovanna made sure we got everything we needed to make our dinner special. Sal is an amazing chef and a great owner. 10/10 would recommend for any meal of the day.

This was our second time in two days. By far the best food we have eaten during our stay in AC. Everything was so good and well-seasoned. The service once again was on point and the Chef is leading a great time. Thank you for making us feel welcomed and feeding us so well. We will definitely come back here on our next visit.

We had an amazing lunch with my family, and it was AMAZING! I look forward to going back for breakfast and dinner! I wish them all the success they deserve. Service was so impressive. Although they were getting ready to close at 3pm to prepare for dinner crowd the server still took a takeout order for someone who was enjoying the pool area of the condo complex, she was so kind to her and said "no problem I would be happy to take your order" WOW!

We dined here on a Saturday night and everything about this place is a delight. I hate writing this review because it will be hard to get a table in here in a few weeks. We started with a Caesar salad. That was shareable and very delicious. l The dressing was perfect. For an entrée I got this Payno and my husband got the stuffed chicken and both were outstanding. We did not get dessert Because I blew all my calories on the outstanding bread and butters that were served with the bread that were unique. I’m pretty much better than any dessert. This restaurant has a heart and soul right now, and it is a place that I would love to Come back to the near future

One word: stupid. Sal’s food is so good there’s no words to capture it properly. You just have to try it —and I’d go there soon, because once everyone finds out about this spot you won’t be able to get a table. You gotta try the French toast, homemade bread, lattes, pastries, pasta, chicken, steak, and that warm brownie & ice cream. All of it!… stupid.
