Super friendly and a wonderful family atmosphere. The back gaming table room is really a dream. My kiddos are really nor great at "library quiet" so we have a place to come and game, where it's not as disruptive to others studying. Super understanding staff concerning special needs adults or children.

Great friendly local game shop. Spent the afternoon gaming with friends and the staff was attentive, it was a pleasant atmosphere, and clean facilities. Will be back.

Friendly local gaming store is local and friendly. They have a nice selection of tables and the on hand product is a broad enough selection if you left something at home. If you're in the market for a new game or mini project they carry both new and common stock. Update: still awesome. Moar Update: I really recommend picking up a membership. You'll be happier in life. My partner and I went in looking for two player games having done zero research ourselves. The guy who helped us was very knowledgeable and took the time to ask about what we like in games to best provide recommendations. We purchased Forbidden Desert and Dice Thrones and we love both of them!

Great place to play D&D with friends, get advice on games, find board games, mini figures, books, dice, bags, mats, magic the gathering & other trading card game packs, and a cookie or drink. A lot of good selection. They even have elf ears! Staff is very knowledgeable on games old and new and friendly!

Extremely welcoming and helpful atmosphere. Great selection of minis for a multitude of games and good number of painting supplies as well. Huge back room for gaming with tons of terrain. Grab a business card when you go and check out the discord for more helpful info from their community.

the atmosphere of the place really sells it. sometimes specialty/novelty stores have a tendency to be off putting. Especially fandom products. however, dragons head allows new comers and experts alike to embrace the interesting culture of board games. coupled with a friendly staff, I would recommend it for anyone interested in board games or looking to dive into something new.

super helpful staff that really do care about the hobby. they do everything they can to keep prices competitive, even on expensive items like Warhammer 40k miniatures.

whenever I have the choice I buy from Dragon's Hoard, they almost always have everything I need. when they don't, their willingness to special order stuff is wonderful !

One of my favorite game stores in Lawrence! They have great staff and an awesome selection of games and miniatures. I appreciate that they have open play spaces for the public. I do a lot of game ordering through Dragon's Hoard and I've always had a great experience!

What a great little shop! Staff is super friendly (without being pushy or intrusive) and incredibly knowledgeable! I'm now in the habit of coming here first when I'm looking for new games, minis, books, and gaming accessories. They even have space and tables in back to play! I cannot recommend this place enough!

Awesome place if you're looking for anything D&D, MTG, or Warhammer. Staff is excellent. Plenty of table space to play games. Prices are fair and inventory is good. If they don't have it they're more than happy to order it for you. Great FLGS!

It was a fun place to visit, they had really cool dnd dice and they even got the grung figures there (I been having a hard time finding some in person lol) anyhow ots nice environment and relaxing one too. The person that was at the checkout was very friendly too!

Love this store! I went looking for gifts and they had a lot of cool stuff at various price points. I was impressed by the board game selection too. There’s something for everyone! I was greeted when I walked in, and the person working there greeted a lot of people by name.

This place is amazing! The owners are very friendly and always looking out for their customers! They designed it to be a community gaming space as well as a game store. Great selection of dice and table top games! They also have a magic section with sleeves and boosters. I will be going here for my gaming needs from now on!

Shop owner is super awesome and friendly. Very knowledgeable and ready to help out with any questions. Shop has a wide range of games and miniatures. Definitely recommend this shop to anyone who loves board games, deck building, and role playing games.

Went in today for the first time and I wish we’d been in sooner! This place is by far the best local game shop in Lawrence. The gentleman that worked there was friendly and very informative. They had a wide selection of board games, D&D items, and other related stuff that made it easy to find just what I wanted and a dozen other things I didn’t even know I wanted. Will def be going back!

Great shop! Found an expansion for Terraforming Mars and many more items I want. Great selection of board games and Warhammer. Will definitely be back soon.
