Great people, very friendly

Never patronized by web site standpoint all the angling supplies and necessity. 2 do list.

I called asking when they would open the following day. Was told "about 10:00" . Got there at 11:00 to NO ONE in sight. I called to no answer. Found a place to buy worms at the campground across the street. The person there said the bait shop doesn't open much these days. If you're not going to be open SAY SO! Very irresponsible as a business. I won't even think of getting bait there even if I go by and see people there.

This place hasn’t been the same since the older gentleman sold it back in 2015. It was called the Lazy Fisherman back then. He had a great setup and ALWAYS had good bait! I believe this is the third ownership since then and they all have been terrible! I’ve tried going there twice with the present ownership and it’s been closed both times…..at 8 in the morning?? Anyone needs bait go to Black Oak Marina, they have plenty! It’s a shame because considering the location of this place, across from the dam and campground, this place should be thriving in business!

Tried calling the 1st time to see if they sold live bait. A kid answered the phone and said No. I ask to speak with the owner and he didn't say a word just hung up. So I had to call back and ask if I could speak with the owner once again. He said No. Then I ask if I could speak with his mom and dad and he said dad is sleeping and mom isn't available. BYE! Don't ever let kids run businesses. That's why businesses are in the shape that they are in. I would not recommend this place at all!

Looked at the reviews before I came. Figured it wouldn’t be open but came anyways. Everyone was right. Don’t waste your time.
