If you desire healthy, natural, wholesome ingredients for your meals, this is the place. Their olive oils are the best quality in the area. You can ask the owner for a tasting of the oils and benefit from his extensive knowledge on the topic. They also carry many other delicious European foods. Love this store.

The owners are experts in these food products. They bring the Mediterranean to us. We should always appreciate them for that. They do a great job bringing highest quality things for us. This is for sure a gem.

I bought a Syrian cookbook about a year ago and many of the recipes called for ingredients that I had never seen in a store (e.g. pomegranate molasses and red pepper paste). Yaranush had everything I wanted. In addition, the store was nicely kept with a wide variety of spices, dried fruit, beans, grains, and prepared foods at reasonable prices. The owners helped me find items (sumac, barberries ) that I had missed, offered cookbook and ingredient recommendations, and even carried my bags to my car. Lastly, the homemade spinach pie and Armenian style baklava were delicious. Highly recommended

I walked in as they were closing. I rushed myself and asked for a good olive oil. He insisted on giving me a tasting of five. I'm sure I'm one of so many he regales with his tales of olives and their oil, and I still felt special. The biggest can of Greek extra virgin olive oil joyfully swung from my arms as I walked out the door.

I shop here for authentic spices, halva and some other delicacies. It was very scary parking on the road though. Cars speeding by seemed to almost hit my car each time they sped by. I had to get to the driver's sea from the right hand side. It's preferable ton park in the store parking lot.

Just came back from this place about an hour ago, and I absolutely loved it! As soon as I walked in, I got a friendly greeting from one of the owners. He was very nice and told me what each aisle had when I told him it was my first time there. And was happy that I wanted to come check the place out!
He told me how they carry a lot of rare foods and agreed with me as I shared my enjoyment of finding candies and treats that are next to impossible to find anywhere else. 'Turkish Delights/Candy' for example.
Really had a great experience here, and I can't wait to come back! Also their homemade Baklava is DELICIOUS!!!! Yum!

I love this store because the foods remind me about my childhood back in Hellas. I always buy the frozen artichoke hearts and the next day I make αγκινάρες αλά πολίτα with lots of dill. Yum!
The store is always well-stocked and clean. I always buy several of their pastries. Yum, again!
I live near Newburgh, NY and I have to travel for almost one hour to visit this store, and what does that tell you?

This is a great place to find delicious Armenian and Greek specialties. They have a wide selection of cheeses and pastries that are difficult to find in Westchester. The owners are very helpful and sweet people. I'd highly recommend. Google says they are not open on the weekend but that is not true...I go on Saturdays.

One of Westchester’s greatest treasures is Yaranous! They have one of the greatest selection of Mediterranean foods and spices. It’s my favorite place to buy the most delicious Turkish figs as well as tastiest olive oils. The owners make outstanding desserts as well as salads and are often inspired by other brilliant cooks like Yotam Ottolenghi! I’ve occasionally read a Mediterranean recipe in the New York Times and wandered into Yaranush looking for a hard to locate spice only to be told that they ( of course) have what I’m looking for and that they too loved that particular dish! They also make delicious coffee and often that’s what makes my visits even more spectacular! They are located on Central Park Avenue just South of White Plains Honda.

Delightful customer service, great tasting home made treats, nuts, dried fruits and other Mediterranean food ingredients. I particularly love their homemade chicken patty (koofteh) and beef pizza (lamajo). Amazing warm people too! Highly recommended!

The best selection of Armenian and Greek food in Westchester. Anyone who loves Mediterranean food will definitely be happy. From nuts and dried fruits to preserves and dairy and of course Armine's (the owner) freshly baked pastries. Wonderful people, amazing food, welcoming environment!

Spectacular selection of middle eastern delicacies. Spices, canned goods, frozen prepared foods, and don't skip the choreg that's home-baked -- though it shouldn't be refrigerated. Their spinach pie is astounding.

Amazing loving couple which have had this establishment since 1987. Maybe I'm in love with it because that was the year I was born. I found about 1 year ago after a neighbor mentioned their delicious fresh bulk nuts which he purchases there. I walked in and was in a Mediterranean foodie heaven. All of the homemade products such as the baklava, babaganoush, taramosalata, hummus, falafel, and more are all delicious and prepared with love. They have a wide selection of food items which you wont find elsewhere and the prices are extremely reasonable. Stop by, it is a gem of a small business in the sea of corporate entities which have destroyed Main Streets across America. Support local small businesses and allow your dollars to circulate through your community. Love.

Yaranush is a hidden gem on Central Avenue in Hartsdale. This Mediterranean store is truly one of a kind. The prepared foods (tzatziki, hummus, lentil tabouleh, etc.) are delicious and made fresh from ingredients, not to mention the amazing pastries and my favorite the paleo bites and sesame treats. A week doesn’t go by without visiting Yaransuh it has become a regular stop on my food shopping routine. The owners are extremely hospitable, knowledgeable and just down right friendly people. Highly recommend!!!
