Big 5 Sporting Goods

I went to Big 5 Sporting Goods at Tropicana today. Alyssa and Joe were fantastic and really helpful. Alyssa was very friendly and made sure I got everything I needed. She helped me choose a great basketball pump for my son. Joe knew a lot about baseball bats and helped me find the right one for my son. Since Joe used to be a basketball trainer, he gave me some coaching tips. I plan to return to this store for more sports gear. Their help and knowledge made shopping easy and fun. I suggest going there if you need great service.

Stopped in at Big-5 for a butane fuel bottle for my stove. Always count on Big 5 to be stocked and super helpful when you walk in. There was an ace next door and their prices were higher, Big 5 also has quality products and stores are located most places I go.

Nice and clean, the staff were so helpful even know the were kinda busey the manager greeted me As soon as I opened the door. He saw that I had to a exchange in my hand and told me to go get whatever I wanted for the exchange. I let him know I couldn't find the receipt for one item, I had the receipt for the other but I was hoping for just exchanges and he said yeah no problem go find whatever you want bring it up here and I'll take care of you. And that's exactly what he did! No problem and I even got money back, no hassley just handed me cashback. That's how it should be!

Excellent service. I really appreciate it for the lady who gave me a 10% off discount for the hunting rifle that I was buying. She's the real hero. She deserves more than 5 stars! 👍💯

I had an unpleasant experience at the Charleston location but, this location flipped that completely. Thank you Peter and your staff.

Tyler was awesome! Very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. He even gave me insight on how to find my item in the future at big 5 stores in my area. I would definitely visit this location again. This store was clean, very organized and good stock.

I was very pleased with my shopping experience at this location! While visiting from another state, my husband and I stopped in for some sunglasses for the drive home. Upon entering, we were greeted by the associates at the front of the store. I appreciate a friendly greeting when I walk in any establishment.
Each person we encountered on this visit, was friendly and helpful, turning this into a full blown shopping trip for my family. Hats off to each employee in the store today. You made a great impression with your positive working attitudes and assistance. Even when there was a slight issue with the register while ringing up our items, a remedy was quickly made! The two gentlemen that were working the floor helped my partner put her sunglasses together. The manager also gave her a discount on a two piece swimsuit that only had one piece of the two piece. That was cool. ☺ The store was clean and easy to navigate. The two gentlemen were very nice and professional and had a good sense of humor.☺

Very friendly and helpful staff compared to other Big 5 stores. Not only did they have what we needed but the associates would ask if we needed helped and were very available to check prices. Overall very happy with this particular location. Everything was clean and well organized.

I buy my Husband's shoes here. They are always in stock. Right color, right size, right size. The employees are exceptional. If you run into two guys in the back playing Food Ball... It's o.k. they work there and are on a break, but will still help you. ; )

I've always loved Big 5 Sporting Goods! I've bought $80 sleeping bags there TWICE for just $20 and they always have sneakers on sale too. I showed up the day AFTER my Hi-Tech boots went OFF sale when I went to buy oversized socks to fit them, but the manager extended the sale price to me in a display of excellent customer service! That's what keeps me coming back.

I found exactly what I wanted in track spikes and the associate was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.

Wish i could remember the name of the associate who helped us. A young man (who has a second job at UPS) went above and beyond to help my husband and I the other day. We needed an inversion table. The ones they had displayed were not what we were looking for. This young man, patiently walked with my husband all around the store and checked the backroom until he found us what we were looking for. I have worked in customer service most of my life, i KNOW most people would have left it at, "Don't see it, we dont have it, tough luck." Please thank this young man for us. He is a gem!!!!
