Becker True Value Hardware

I was Immediately greeted when I walked through the door and instantly directed to the appropriate staff to assist me with paint selection. They guided me from start to finish, mixed up my color and helped me choose a gloss/finish (which embarrassingly confused me but they happily explained it with a little tab filled with examples) provided me with a stir stick and opener and recommended an appropriate paint brush/sandpaper for the job. If I could give 10 stars I would. The eggshell finish is so perfect and my project turned out beautifully! Excellent customer service!! Fair prices too ;-)

Had our trailer wiring go out, stopped in and had everything we needed to get back on the road.

Love this hardware store when I need something and don't want to go to a big box store 15 miles away. Staff are ALWAYS helpful, as soon as you walk in the door and they direct you right to what you are looking for! Great customer service!

Such a great little place!
I recently went to this store for my Uhaul rental but picked up a few things too.
The staff were very friendly every step of the way, not only with the rental, but with products as well.
If you're in the area and need hardware (large selection BTW), id definitely check this place out. Very competitive on prices too.

This is my favorite business in my hometown. This is a family owned business where I see the same wonderful people. Everyone is authentic, helpful and what I consider to be a friend to everyone in the community.
Speaking of community, this crew volunteers for many events within our town that make us better and remind us of our roots and values.
This store is a great asset to Becker, both in product, and especially in people! These are my people!

Friendly small town hardware store!

They always have plenty of employees on staff to help you. Quick in and out, no waiting. Always friendly staff, knowledgeable.

When you need something all the big box stores will also have, come here. It is closer, the people are great. John the owner is very helpful. The girls (and guys) that work there are very knowledgeable. Prices are comparable. Home Depot is just down the road, but I would much rather come here if they have what I need.

It's great, I almost always find what I need without having to drive to St.Cloud or Monticello.
I have to update this review. I stopped by 2 weeks ago and was immediately greeted and asked if I would like some assistance. I was looking for 5 or 6 specific items. The sales specialist directed the way to the items I needed and described the difference in products. I left a very happy customer. I will always check/ shop here first.

One of the best hardware stores I've been into! Unfortunately they are a dying breed. John (owner) has been operating in Becker for over 20 years! Not only is he an amazing FFL Dealer he is a wonderful man! Have had a few good stories with him. His staff is always very helpful! Keep up the great work everyone! We LOVE the small town courtesy here. The staff is always amazing. Always willing to help and they are very personable. I love that Becker still has places like this. Thank you!! We will always come back.

The store is well supplied with great selection. If they do not have it they can usually order it, to you can order to the store from the True Value website. I ordered my lawn mower from them. They stock the parts for the maintenance of the mowers they sell! Kim and John have built one of the Anchor businesses in Becker with great staff and perfect service.
Bring your broken item to the store so they can identify what the replacement is! Nellie, Rhonda, and any of the local youth will be able to find your item. Many times some of the other locals in the store can help with advice! They rent equipment also, but do not break their stuff please! I might need it next!
Paint, dog food (frequent buyers club), fishing tackle, hunting supplies, ammo, nails bolts screws, auto care, tools, plumbing, electrical, carpentry supplies, doors-(they do screen replacement), pipe cutting and threading (during day with tenured staff), garden supplies, some jeans (your welcome), boots (redwing), work gloves, heating and air stuff- duct work end pieces, and most important:

Locals who care and have a great sense of humor.

Very nice staff and alot of women staff to answer my questions as I don't know what I need often and they help me figure it out right away. I admire the gals that work there and their knowledge! Good job!!!

Small town hardware store. Also has some things to rent like tillers, and lawn aerators, etc. People willing to help you find what your looking for, and figure out hire to solve whatever needs fixing.

Love supporting these small town local businesses. The staff here are always helpful, the owner is friendly and inviting. Great selection, great service.

The employes here are super helpful and very nice.
It is definatly my local go to place when i have projects to do around the house.

Pay a little more but the convience is nice and carry a wide range of items, also ive noticed they carry the better quality items in some areas compared to big box retailer.
As any other small store you gotta pick and choose what you purchase there, always get someone to show me were something is without having to search around, very helpful, and great to have them in town!

Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful, a True Value to the community makes it easy to shop local first, from U-haul rentals, nails,nuts, bolts, household items, and paint; even brawn when needed. I would give 10 stars!
