Food City

I love this store. They have a great salad bar, a delicious chicken wing bar. I wish they would bring back the fill a bucket for 9 dollars tho. Their hot food bar is also great.they have a Starbucks right in the middle and all kinds of single serving desserts. If you like pies, this is the place. Strawberry rhubarb is one of my favorites and the only place I can find fresh peach pie. Yummy

They have just opened a little over a month ago. Everything looks so good and clean. All the workers have good attitude and very helpful and friendly. Have never seen anything like that. I hope they can keep that up over time, if so, they will be very successful.

All the shelves are stocked up good compared to other stores that seem to leave empty areas on shelving. You can find a good amount of food product selections too that other stores do not stock (or use to have). The isles are big and it is easy to find what you need quickly.

The prices are competitive and the food area is awesome.

The salad bar is fresh and clean. The bakery pies and cakes are fresh and have a good homemade taste (about what Grandma Hawkins used to make). Can’t wait to try the hot items on the food bar.

The parking lot is big and easy to get access (you don’t feel trapped like other store parking lots). And the parking lot is clean. I hope they keep that up too.

Twas 6 days before Christmas and all through the store the shelves were all stock from ceiling to floor. The staff were all busy but still had time to chat. The checkout went quickly even with a great recipe exchange. Bagging was swift and we were out the door in a jiff. We love shopping at Food City. We go every week and are never dissatisfied with anything we purchase. Had wonderful Brunswick Stew for lunch with freshly bake-at-home baguette. Dinner was one of their great steaks.

Love this place. They're open until midnight on weekdays. I found a lot of products and brands that I normally don't find it other grocery stores. I was expecting prices to be a little on the expensive side but they were not. They also have a great Deli/Cafè/Hot food service.

I've been going here a few times to shop for a few things and I just have to admit that I may as well go here often. Lol. Nice selection of stuff to choose from. This is only the second Food City that I've ever visited, the other one was in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. They are both nice locations to shop at. I will definitely be going back soon!

Always well stocked and clean. Cashiers have always been very helpful and extremely pleasant. Beer, Wine & Floral depts are larger than any other grover store in the area 😃

Got a bunch of sale foods, and it was like I time-traveled! .50- $1 for the most part did get some items at regular price though saved a ton (no couponing involved as well). It was amazing!

Staff was friendly, and store was clean. Was a night shopping trip, and not many other customers around which was nice too.

Love Food City, a bit pricy but you can find food there that no one else has. Their hot & cold food bar is awesome ( also a bit pricy).
Store is always clean, organized and staff are always kind and helpful.

I really do love this store. Tonight was my first time the only thing is the ice cream was buy one get one free but the price of one was marked up to over 7 dollars for one container that is no more than 5 dollars so there's that. That was giving Kroger and Publix. I don't like that. I am into e commerce and that pricing strategy is actually illegal but businesses do it everywhere They have a Butcher so that's neat The store is very clean and they are open late. If I gave a number from 1 to 10 I would say 8, so they get a five star here tonight.Also they have potentially good food but wasnt fresh from the asian bar it was salty and cold.Also the wing bar they where sold cold I was so far disappointed And the girl in the Starbucks didnr wash her hands and she mixed the drink with syrup from thr bottom of the pitcher instead of getting fresh mix. I experienced all of this in one day

I love the Fyffes bananas at Food City! Fyffes hasn't mistreated the banana workers in the banana groves that I know of, unlike Chiquita and Dole did in the past.

Excellent local food store, pharmacy and gas station. For each dollar you spend there, it takes money off the price of Gas. Also Starbucks on the inside and Dunkin Donuts on the outside. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Food City is awesome. The store is really clean, has all the name brand items and the people are always helpful and friendly.

Great deals, quality food and service. Hot food bar, huge fresh salad bar and fresh produce.

Great to have a quality grocery store on the east side that offers a large selection of products. Very nice deli and pizza station. They also have a Starbucks. Very clean and well lit without being too crowded with stuff in the aisles. Only down side for me is that it is quite a drive from the Baxter area. Still, top rated!!

Love their 5 for $20 deals as well as their meat markdowns. I save quite a bit of money each week.

Always clean and fully stocked, great selection and easy to get in and out when I just need a couple things.

Living in Memphis for 25 years and I always had to split up my shopping between Walmart and Kroger. But since moving to cookeville I've found that I can get everything I need from this one place.
