Whole Foods Market

The hot food bar is hit or miss; if you get there early not all items will be out. If you get there late, some of the food will be dry and crusty. The desert case is mostly empty during the week because they are understaffed. Some items are frequently out of stock. Most staff are helpful and friendly. Self-checkout is intuitive and problem free.

Great store. Very reasonable prices

Came to this place with only 5 minutes left before they closed on Christmas Eve. All the other restaurants were closed and the Chinese restaurant was backed up. We needed food for 11 people and this was our only hope. We ran through the door and grabbed all the frozen Chinese food we could get. The person checked us out smiled and told us to have a happy holiday. They were open all the way until 7:00 p.m. this saved our holiday and I'm eternally grateful. PS the whole foods brand Chinese food was very good and easy to make. I would do it again.

This was my first return to Amazon. They have machine that scans the code from Amazon from my phone. It prints a return label and there plastic bags to put the return in. You drop in a collection box. Extremely easy.

Some good quality stuff for a little more $. I do 1/4 of my shopping at the gas station so this seems significantly more fancy. Many quality brands in 1 place. The area is a bit crowded, but less difficult than the mall.

The young man at the bakery today helped me out with a cake and did an amazing job writing happy birthday!!! Great service give him a raise

Best place to buy quality yogurt. Prime savings can make it a great deal.

Great salad bar, fresh food as well as herbs, oils and spices. Love that they have both organic and non-organic, so many gluten free options and an area to sit and eat with a friend.

I've shopped at Whole Foods in several different states and this was my first time shopping at Whole Foods in Des Moines Iowa. Very impressed with the layout and the very friendly staff but I've always had good luck and never really any complaints with Whole Foods anywhere I've shopped. Prices on some things are high but then again you get what you pay for. Some of the things that I shop for I will go for price so again it just depends on what I'm buying and if I can find something for instance in vitamins and health food supplements that I can get a little less somewhere else I will shop around. But usually I will use my Amazon card and get discounts on several items that I regularly buy. When it's all said and done I think you will really enjoy this store. I want to add that I really enjoy shopping for the chef's plate you can buy an entree and two sides very reasonable they've got salmon, shrimp entrees, beef, chicken, and if you decide to eat there they have a microwave that you can put the entrees in if you need to if you're not bringing it home.

Met a friend who started working here in the Beauty Department, my favorite area of the store. It was quite a big store, compared to the Maple Grove location that I usually frequent. Very nice! I'll be back! 👍

Our weekly grocery shop, I have compared the organic product with other stores. Here is the best. Price is little higher but it is worth it for the product quality you get. During the season we always get Anchovies every week (which we don’t get anywhere).

Although you'd think most Whole Foods are the same, this one is different. The staff there all seem like a really great team, so kind and helpful!! I was having a tough day and then lost something while at the store. They went out of their way to notice I was a bit distressed and communicated with each other about it so naturally and with help they found it, it meant the world not only that I found what I lost but more importantly highlighted that there are kind ppl in a world where sometimes it feels the opposite.
If the Whole Food team sees this, I just want to say thanks again. It means a lot!!!

In general, Whole Foods works hard to offer wholesome, healthy food. They are forthright & more transparent in offering the origin, ingredients, etc. in the food they sell. The meals they produce are basically healthier than most other grocery stores. There are smaller health food stores that do great work too. Yet I would say WFs is clearly one of the best leaders in healthy choices in the larger grocery chains. Shoppers need such leadership.

What an incredible team of people working this establishment! I had never been to this particular location nor purchased Dog Food from a Whole Foods before and the supervisor on staff took the time to help me make the right choice for my dog’s needs! Thank you, kind sir, your good deed was much appreciated!

I am not a whole foods grocery customer. I used them for an Amazon return. I had never done that before and was frequently frustrated with all the hassle of having to print off return shipping labels, find a box, etc. In the middle of other errands, I was able to swing into the store and go right up to a checkout counter. They scanned my phone, took the item, and I immediately got an email notice that the return was complete. I only use Amazon moderately and do not have prime. I very much appreciate this convenient option for returns.
