Stockton Bargain Center

Once upon a time, this place had an amazing collection (jumble? pile?) of multi-lingual cookbooks. I don't know how much money or time I spent in there, but I know it was worth it. During my last visit, I saw no cookbooks. It also didn't smell overwhelmingly of mothballs. I've still got the memories, at least. And the cookbooks, of course.

this is my favorite place in chinatown, I've been buying goodies for years, every time I go I find something new and exciting. Stationary, cute ke-ai heads listen up! dont miss the bootleg c-pop selection too.... i hope this place never goes away. wo ai ni!

The store has everything you can imagine just you have to search by yourself for it. Prices are cheap, you need to take cash , they don’t accept credit card.

A great shop with a feel of a flea market! I get bargain tools, household items and kitchen ware! Shopping there takes time and patience! You have to search the isles to find the items!

This place is a bit of hit-and-miss depends on what they got in. A lot of the stuff are practically dollar store material, but there is often a section of CDs that may be worth going over for some classic C-Pop or Cantonese opera and such, but they are usually compilations. There may even occasionally be some books and whatnot.
