Love Hare & the Hound! Befn going since I was a kid with my parents. Love to pop in to pick up nostalgic British items such as crisps, bangers, pudding, sausage rolls, Heinz beans , scones and imported English fare! Best selection of Cadbury and European chocolates. Tea, trinkets tea pots and tea cozy’s! If you can’t cross the pond it’s a slice of heaven! Reminds me of my visits and time living in England! Tricia and family are lovely as always! Just popped by today to pick up British breakfast items for the Liverpool game on Saturday morning! British breakfast time!!! The best! A little piece of home in westlake village that makes you feel like you took a step into the UK! Best Easter and holiday treats on display! We Love this place!always a warm welcome!

Fabulous shop for all of your classic British grocery needs. I was well impressed by the extremely reasonable prices,vast selection, and the kindness and knowledge possessed by the store owner. I had a great experience and would highly suggest this gem of a shop to anyone.

Amazing! My partner and I just happened to drive by and had to make a stop! We have been looking for the Robinsons orange bottles everywhere. He was so happy to see how many varieties H&H had. Born and raised in Cambridge, UK, he was extremely happy! Thank you!

I've been coming here since I was a child (when Trish was there each day~LOVE YOU!!). I have such a deep respect & love for my Scottish heritage so this shop has always been magical for me. There is a wide variety of items from the UK available, from food to clothing to keepsakes to stickers! There is something for everyone and I can't wait to visit again soon to replenish my stock of awesomeness! Thank you so much for still being here after all these years!!!

Excellent shop for all British sweets, food items and novelty gifts. Owned and run by a very nice lady by the name of Trish who is free m Scotland. Give it a try you won’t be sorry.

I love this wee shop. I stop in here often to stock up on crisps, Irn Bru and chocolate sweeties. Trish the owner is lovely and really takes care of the place. Always enjoy our wee blethers when I stop in.

This store is a must see! They have everything from scones and meat pies to cereals. They have plenty of cute tea pots, cups, saucers, and tea platters that are all reasonably priced. They have tea platters that are super cute for only $25. The owner was the nicest lady ever. She is from Scotland and had a cute Scottish accent. Safe place to go during COVID-19, she has her mask on properly, hand sanitizer, sanitization wipes, and has received her vaccine. Great place to go see and look around! Highly recommend.

TRISHIA THE PROPRIETOR HAS TO BE THE NICEST WARMEST & MOST WONDERFUL PERSON YOU COULD EVER WISH TO MEET. She sells such great stuff too and it’s all from the Uk . In fact, you think you are in the UK the moment you walk into this tiny cute store. It’s old fashioned & extremely courteous service and a great warm welcome to match. I have been shopping there for more years than I would like to remember & I recommend it to anyone who wants a taste of the Uk. I buy lots of food items there and other gifts & memorabilia from the excellent selection on offer in the store. I am in fact her biggest customer for my favorite sauce ,” BRANSTON RICH & FRUITY”, which I can’t find anywhere else. I get 12 bottles at a time & she ships them to me when I am out of town too. Her prices are really excellent and much much less than Amazon and other places for the same or similar items.
She is s pleasure to deal with which is a breath of fresh air in this day & age as she has the time of day for all of her customers. You should try this store next time you are looking for something British in food items or other wonderful British goodies…

My son, Mac (5), visited for the first time today and were so charmed and impressed. Trish was lovely and friendly and she had all the best stuff to sell. We will be back again, and soon!

This store is delightful! Great candy selection. My kids thought they loved American KitKat until they had British ones! So much better! Always fun to try something new in this store.

I live in Melbourne Australia and I have been in The Hare & Hounds many years ago and always got that taste of home. my brother lives in 1000 Oaks and thanks to Patricia( a Lovely Lady) I can sent him a gift card to Shop for that taste of home.Kindest Regards. Marty O'Connor

Darn right 5 stars!! Find me a SINGLE person that would rate it less! For over 3 decades, this store has survived the BS T.O. politics and shameful city government policies that have forced other legacy T.O. businesses to close.

I've been coming here for years and it's very nice. Not the largest selection, but worth the visit. Patricia runs the place like it's her home and treats all her customers like old friends coming over for a visit and it happens to be that she has English treats and other products for sale.

Had another wonderful experience there today. The owner was there, staying as safe as possible during covid to ensure her customers were taken care of. That is tremendous dedication which means I can continue to have proper bacon!

Fantastic selection of British favorites from sweeties, crisps, teas etc. Not to forget the various frozen goodies. Love this wee shop!

This is our second favorite place to go for English specialty items when I am in Thousand Oaks, our wee Scottish Lady is a sweetheart and we love to have a visit while we shop, after breakfast at the Crown and Anchor pub.
