Valero gas station also known as Pine Grove Stage Stop is my favorite and most frequented gas station /mini mart in Amador county. Fair prices for pretty much everything and best customer service. From snacks to liquor to gas and smokes one stop shop. They also accept ebt and there is air for tires right at the pump and you don't need to ask for it to be turned on it's always ready to go. The only down side is the only restroom is a Porta potty outside. Other than that it is top notch in my book.

Staff is always friendly and greets with a smile! I've loved moving to this small town everyone is always so nice! They are always clean and always in stock for drinks and snacks.. it's a one stop and done kinda place!

This is one of the better places on the Mountaintop to get gas the store inside has nice friendly health sometimes a little slow help but you know you got to give everybody time to get through the line but the prices inside are great a restroom for the public so I suggest stopping by and checking it out on your way through Pine Grove very large selection inside to and can I remind you again great prices

excellent place to stop for gas and snacks and drinks are always fully stocked good selection and the 2 people I have met there were extremely nice and helpful

Nice little place to get a quick stop Apple Store with lots of selection friendly staff they have gas here ice propane things for camp in a wide variety obviously have drinks alcohol and snacks

Open to till midnight and they have ice cream, frozen pizza, candy, alcohol, smokes .... if you need anything they're open late and have a friendly staff!

Pine Grove is a census-designated place in Amador County, California. It lies at an elevation of 2513 feet. The population was 2,219 at the 2010 census. It is located at 38°24′47″N 120°39′32″W, along State Route 88. The community is in ZIP code 95665 and area code 209. The current boundaries of Pine Grove include the former mining towns of Clinton and Irishtown. The town also is home to Indian Grinding Rock State Historic Park. A post office opened in Pine Grove in 1856. source
