A must-stop when in Portsmouth, I can’t recommend them enough! The owner, Donna, is incredibly knowledgeable. She truly has a passion for helping you discover your next favorite wine or what will pair the best with what you’re having for dinner. Can’t go wrong with free wine tastings on Fridays, either!

We had the best wine tasting at the Islington Bottle Shoppe with Donna! The wines she selected were interesting, delicious, and she was unbelievably knowledgeable about each one! We loved the shop so much, we came back the next day. We are already planning our next visit - a must see in Portsmouth!

Such a cute little shoppe! Donna is wonderful and the store is well kept, inviting and such a gem. Highly recommend! Keep small businesses in business, shop local. Love that they have the option for private events! Would be a great wedding party event, small work event or pre-event to a evening.

This shop is a gem. Donna recommended tons of wines to us based on our tastes, and we walked out with some great bottles. Also, the shoppe’s Instagram is so educational if you want to learn more about wine. Can’t wait to come back!

Great variety! The owner has personally tasted all the wines and has such vast knowledge of the varieties and production processes. Plus, there are many options under $20. Will definitely be back!
