This is the real deal food wise. Food was well prepared with the right amount of spice and served in a super clean location. Located in a questionable area of Athens, everyone inside both the store and the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. Since I started eatting birre tacos, this place has without a doubt the best consume with that plate. As mentioned by others pricing is a bit on the high side, but hey was isn't! I'll be back and you should stop by as well.

Well exceeded expectations!!!! Super friendly and fast customer service and that was probably the best Hispanic dish I have ever eaten in my life. 10/10 Will be going back!! Everything down to the green sauce was spot on!

Grocery store has an amazing selection including a meat department. Restaurant is excellent with great authentic dishes.

Best quesadilla in Athens. Handmade tortilla, chicken was cooked perfectly with authentic toppings. Nice staff. Quick service. Better than any TexMex around and better value. $25 for two peoples full meals. 10/10 will be back.

We ordered Christmas tamales, had both pork and chicken... Both were great. highly recommend the Tamales.

This is an excellent eatery. Service is spotless and portions are very generous in reference to the price. As for authenticity, their food is just like what you would find in a traditional "fonda" in downtown Mexico City. Great place.

I encourage all caucasians in and around Athens Alabama to visit this store. It's just as good as the Hispanic stores in Los Angeles. It's like visiting a small piece of Mexico in your own neighborhood.
