H Mart - Catonsville

H-Mart is awesome! The prices on produce and meat are unbeatable. Plus they have the largest variety of fruits and veggies I’ve ever seen in the area. I love the aisle of sauces and the aisle of noodles. There are endless options of so many unique things to try!

The grocery is about 2/3 the size of the one in Ellicott City, but just as great. A little less frozen and a little less American dry goods. Tons of produce, fish and meat. Go elsewhere for chicken & dairy. Though they have a small selection of Mexican cheeses & other latino products.

I prefer the restaurant & walk out bakery here, over Ellicott city. Premade sushi is about a 1$ cheaper than ordering a la carte, and it normally dosen’t start going out until closer to 11. Cash only & 1$ extra for take out!

Try the shrimp egg rolls, soups (#35, 36, 43-40) & the short rib with sweet pumpkin & special sauce (#32).

This was my first time here and definitely I was amazed with all of this great options and delicious food. Definitely recommend it.

This was my first time here, and I absolutely loved it. The varieties they had were awesome. I couldn't find any ceremonial matcha, though. Best believe I'll be back.

This place is awesome. Truly a one stop shopping option for anything you're looking for that you typically wish was at Walmart or Giant. Looking for Sushi rice, they have it. Looking for Spicy Chili Sesame Oil, they have it. Anything and everything Asian, they have it. Produce, meat, fish, grain, seaweed, etc - they have it all. Definitely worth coming here and THEN going to an American-ized grocery store for the rest of your stuff if by the slight chance H Mart doesn't have it. Do not skip this store on grocery day - totally worth it. Felt like a kid in a candy store!

I love thé hotpot meat they have! They are very thin and with good quality. The dumplings are also very good. A lot of stuffing and very thin skin.

Still my favorite Asian market in Maryland. Great selection of products and decent prices. This location is also my favorite of the H-Mart chain. Tons of fresh vegetables and fruits, every cut of meat you can need, and a large variety of seafood. The eat in restaurant is also a great place to grab lunch, nice portions of freshly prepared food.

They have all the veggies, fruits, meat, fish and so much more. If your looking all over town for a special ingredient, nine times out of ten, they have it. The fish market is the absolute best. I moved here from NY almost 20 years ago and have not seen a fish market like this since I moved away. I just wish I lived closer to this market but well worth the hike.

Well stocked, great produce - buy what you need for that day because it is sold ripe. Excellent vegetarian selections including a wall of tofu and fake meat products, fresh, frozen, and canned. Lovely noodle selection, and the restaurant and Momo bakery have well-made dishes. Recently found the prepared bibimbap veggies at a great price; they made about 4 meals with fresh rice. The prices are generally pretty low here, so if you're having company and making large quantities of food, it really can't be beat. Large selection of canned goods including pretty much every fake meat under the sun and condiments that span a large and diverse portion of Asia and some from central America.

Incredible selection on Korean food : great variety of fresh fruits and vegetables at excellent prices; live fish and shellfish in seafood market; plenty of safe free parking; great selection of specialty rice (now is the time to make sushi at home!!!); delightful fresh Asian baked items; new feature: extensive cosmetics and skin care bar.

An incredible selection of many international foods, but the best part is the amazing fresh seafood and fish section. A huge range of fish of every kind and the staff are very helpful to make suggestions. The bakery at the front is impressive too.

I absolutely love going to this grocery store. Always clean, the cashiers are friendly and the produce is better than all surrounding grocery stores. Also, the variety of the fruits and vegetables are out of this world. I am so grateful to have this grocery store in my neighborhood. Just went today and purchased baby bok choy, oranges, fresh cilantro, seasoned korean cucumbers, lemons, peppers, yellow watermelon, cantaloupe, etc... I just love this grocery store..... I almost forgot, they gave me a free 2024 H Mart Calendar with beautiful artwork for each month. A+++

If you’re interested in Asian or international food, this is an excellent place to go.

If you need to find some rarer ingredients for ANY Asian recipe, they will have it. While this is a Korean grocery store, they also have common ingredients that you could use for Latin cuisine as well.

This place is a MUST for anyone who loves to cook.

Great selection of Korean and other asian groceries. Convenient location near a lot of other shopping spots.

The produce section is better than you'll find in most Western groceries, as is the meat section. The seafood section is full of fresh raw fish, shrimp, etc., but also squid and other good stuff (I love seafood). The snack section has a lot of good stuff that you can't get elsewhere.

I personally come here for cheap but delicious staple foods—Golden curry, Samyang spicy ramen, rice, and all kinds of sauces, seasonings, meats, and vegetables.

Only drawbacks are that prices are a bit on the expensive side, and the parking lot and store itself are always packed. It's definitely worth the wait though if you like to cook with quality ingredients.

Love all the fresh veggies and fruits that you are able to find, as well as the fresh seafood. Also having the ability to see and purchase items from different cultures.
