I thought this was the coolest shop on Beale st. There is a lot to look at. There is an old school soda and ice cream fountain on one end of the bar and alcohol being served on the other.

The Elvis shake (vanilla ice cream, peanut butter, and banana was really good) but be prepared to just drink it. The straw doesn’t really work. I got mine malted, and the shake was about $7 for a 12-16 oz shake. Good value, cute store for the whole family

This is the perfect little touristy spot that provides a balance of souvenirs and all types of sweets, candies and unique things to buy for the whole family.

We went over and tried the milkshakes and they are incredible. not too expensive and the PB chocolate one was off the chart.

Great customer service and overall good time.

Recent trip to Memphis and Beale Street was only made better by stopping in here for an old fashioned soda drink at the old counter drug store. Lots of Memphis memorabilia and goodies to look at and buy. Enjoyed the thrill of trying freeze dried candy!

This Beale Street store has some of everything, from souvenir hats, magnets, T-shirts, and lots of other things. You could spend at least an hour shopping.
The ladies room was out if paper towels and not as clean as it should be.
I did report this to an employee but she said they don't have enough workers.

You must stop here, just for the sheer audacity of the place. Yes- there is junk- but there are also quite a bit of fun items here as well.

Make sure you check out the old school soda fountain. While I had no homemade sodas, we did try the malted milkshake, and it was a great treat in a hot day.

Make sure you go all the way to the top- there are three floors!

Fun shopping experience! Reasonable prices and wide variety of gifts and souvenirs. Loved having a sundae at the soda fountain. Little museum up on the second floor had some interesting items from their long history. I would recommend stopping there. #Memphis #vacation #rocrealestateconnector

Very good gift shop for people visiting Memphis and want to take a little of Memphis back with them. The Elvis Shake was very good from the Fountain shop they have inside. A must go if you are on Beale Street.

Wow, where do I even begin, this place is awesome. We went in for the coffee but I ended up getting one of their handmade blueberry sodas as well. They make them fresh right in front of you.
The espresso was great but you need to try one of their sodas. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It feels a little like a trip back in time.

Super fun and alot to look at. Fun old candies, toys, post cards. T-shirts, Hoodoo items, with an old soda fountain inside. Definitely worth a visit. Only open till 5pm.

A must-do when in Memphis. Creaky wooden floors, a wide assortment of toys, local soaps and jams, an old-fashioned soda fountain, candy, Memphis music merch, and a generous helping of Hoodoo supplies upstairs. Come prepared to spend at least an hour just taking everything in.

Love this place. Great old school vibe and great food as well. There are many new knick knacks and also many old items that have been preserved and on display to enjoy. You can also find old candy that you may not be able to find any where else. If you dont do anything else get a shake or sundae with the made-in-store waffle cones.

As you walk through the door you are taken back in time. Family owned for 3 generations. You can find all sorts of stuff and souvenirs at a great price ... candy that u had as a child. Great shakes and icecream. A must visit in Memphis.

Old fashioned shop with lots to see and a real soda shoppe. Lots of souvenirs and gifts. Pretty much anything Elvis can be found here from earrings to snow globes. A lot of fun for the family.

This is a very unique store, with history, and appeal to all people of all ages. There were so many great products, shirts, memorabilia, music, and souvenirs it was difficult to choose. A. Schwab is a must for people visiting Memphis.
We had a fresh Elvis style malt milk shake from the bar and it was delicious.

I love history and this is the oldest business on Beale Street. Has a ton of stuff to look around at. And a old fashioned soda shop, tons of fun things to buy. And lots of historic items throughout. The picture in the post is just across the street. Only one I took

We visit here as often as possible and love this quaint little store. The museum upstairs has some neat things to look at, and they have the best sweet potato butter I've ever had (the reason for our visit--I'd ran out!). They have a small half-off clearance section, lots of old toys and candies as well as newer merchandise. Lots to choose from, and I highly recommend killing some time here.

Nice family appropriate stop on Beale st. The old fashioned soda counter was a pleasant surprise. Banana split was really well done, some topping were missing, but they do not sell enough consistently to make that worth while, but it is still very highly rated in my book.
