I absolutely love my Leviathan rods. I choose to customize my rods so I could shorten my handle. Eric was able to do that as well as add some awesome colors so I can quickly know which rod is which. They load well, sensitivity is excellent, and the winn grips rock!

We've caught plenty of giant largemouth, smallmouth and striped bass on these rods. They've held up to the rigors of guiding and trophy fishing. Great company to do business with, highly recommend. Tight lines

I have been fishing for over 20 years and these rods are hands down the best built rods on the market! Eric knows how to build a rod to match exactly what you want to get out of it. He only uses the best components when building his rods and it shows in the durability of these rods. I now have 7 custom Leviathan Rods built exactly how I wanted, I could not be happier. The sensitivity, appearance, performance and overall quality in every rod cannot be matched by any rod on the market. I can honestly say I will never own another rod unless it's a Leviathan! From anything saltwater, freshwater, fly fishing to custom kids rods Eric has you covered! Service and quality is something you can always count on with any Leviathan Rod!

I have to say I was quite nervous about buying a custom rod. I was also Looking at a NRX but after speaking with Eric I pulled the trigger and got a 7ft 3 Heavy Trinity and couldn’t be happier. The blank on this rod is truly incredible. The sensitivity is unreal. The build quality is spot on and for a better price point. I have fished G Loomis, Shimano, Lews, Duckett,TFO, and many others and the only thing I have used that is on par with these rods is G Loomis, but once you compare price also there is no comparison. Great people, great product!!!

I received my Leviathan Black Trident rod about a week ago. Since then I have heavily fished this rod using a variety of lures to put it to the test. The sensitivity and craftsmanship put into these rods is unmatched. I can feel the slightest bite or blade of grass easily. Leviathan Outdoors uses the best components to form the best rods!

I own 23 Leviathan rods. Some Trinity's, some (most) custom. The long and short of why the rods make the difference are:

* You simply land more fish. The fish fight the rod, not the reel.
* Super sensitive blanks, load up nicely
* Perfect guide placement on every rod = perfect parabolic bend

Since I throw all Leviathan rods, I've had the occasional mishap. Eric stands by his rods and gets them back in my hands quickly.

Eric is an Artisan rod builder. I like to call him my 'rod whisperer'. He is the reason all of my rods have his signature on them.

I ordered a custom rod from Leviathan Rods and I love it! I talked with Eric and let him know what I was looking for in a rod. He not not only delivered, but knocked it out of the park! I highly recommend Leviathan Rods to anyone looking for high quality fishing rod.

I apologize in advance for a long winded review but I think it's important to capture every aspect of why I chose, and continue to chose, Leviathan as my rod of choice. I met Eric at his shop in December of 2016 and we went over different rods, components, etc. We talked fishing for a couple of hours and what I was wanting in a rod. We talked about what the application would be, the aesthetics would be and what components he would use and why. Some time later, I pulled the trigger on having a custom Trident made for throwing a popping cork capable of handling upper slot reds while throwing 50 lb braided line. I wanted it "whippy" enough to be able to handle my aggressive popping with ease, plenty of backbone to wrestle upper slots out of a kayak, light as possible and the color needed to match my orange camo Ocean Kayak. After picking it up and right off the bat, I was extremely impressed with the custom marbling job that was done and I was very pleased with the look of the cork match winn grips. Over the last few months I've landed around 150 pounds of upper to oversize redfish. This past Saturday was a testament to why I feel that Leviathan absolutely nailed what I wanted. I was fishing the Galveston Redfish Series and the wind kicked up, muddied up the water and left me with no choice but to throw cork blind casting most of the day. I threw hundreds of casts (shoulder doesn't even feel sore) and corked several redfish from 7.5-11 pounds. And then it happened. The one fish that summed up the performance of this rod. I had a nice redfish on my stringer, my drift sock out and my paddle on it's leash floating in the water. Basically a yard sale around my kayak. This fish hit my bait head on and came running straight to the yak, head on, from about 30 feet out. I reeled in as fast as I could to keep up with him as I saw him heading straight for my mess of gear out in the water. Once he got just a couple of feet away from the gear and was lined up good enough, I yanked back and stopped him dead in his track, literally doing a flip backwards. Went 10.5 pounds on the boga but just a little big length wise to keep. And that folks, is EXACTLY what this rod was built for. Thanks Leviathan for making sure every component matters.
