We were in town from New Zealand and scored some great old back issue comics that the owners let me look through before they had even made it to the shelves.
Enjoyed chatting comics, collecting and life with the store owners.
It was nice to see groups of gamers gathered round tables having lots of fun as well.

Good for finding antique toys and it looks like a fairly popular place to get a group together for table top games. I was most excited for their selection of Catana games and expansions! The employee that was there sounded very knowledgeable about the cards he was selling. Him and my partner talked for over 20 minutes about Magic cards! Has a wide variety of games and cards, including Star Wars and Pokemon cards. This place is not limited to D&D and Magic cards.

Great place! They host a ton of different board games and card games. They also sell a decent selection of comics. The staff is friendly and willing to help you out with any questions. Most importantly, the folks that go here are some of the most kindest individuals you would meet. It is okay if you do not know how to play a certain gane because the majority of everyone there is willing to help you learn.

Jake was very friendly. He went through about 8,000 magic cards that I had. He gave me a very good price on them. He is also very friendly and nice to deal with. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Satisfy all of your tabletop roleplaying game, board game and war game needs at Empire Central. The facilitate the organization of tabletop roleplaying games there on some nights. They also have a good selection of collectables and comics/manga.

TCG focused, but has a great boardgame demo library and plenty of space and tables to game.

Walk in the door, greetings from the owner, and on my visit, cheering chess match. 10 school-age people with match supervision. With the gamut of gaming possibilities based on books, rules, maps, and fantasy-adventures. There are toys, collectibles, and a chill owner. Not for electronics, consoles, or software.

I've been playing D&D, board games and a bit of magic here for over a year. They also have a huge selection of Star Wars collectibles and a fair amount of comics.

Mike and his staff are great at answering questions and all of their pricing is very fair. I look forward to our weekly gaming sessions.

I go here once a month to play Werewolf! They have lots of events and games. They also have a lot of cool stuff for sale. The staff is amazing!

I went in to buy my son a birthday present. Mike was very helpful and even invited my son to come in and watch some of the D&D groups so he could learn to DM from them. I was very impressed. I also love supporting local businesses here in League City.

Excellent place to find folks who wanna chill and play games. Mike (the owner) is always welcoming and you never feel pressured to spend any money... even if you've been hangin out all day. There are TONS of board games in house that are COMPLETELY FREE to play! Many of the regulars are available to teach new games and usually will even toss a few cards your way to help get your collection started.

Some of the more obscure games aren't played as regularly, but you'll always find MTG, Star Wars Destiny, Keyforge, and D&D, etc.

Went in to look and explore. Although I did not get the owner’s name I really enjoyed the chat. Very knowledgeable and most friendly. Prices are great! I travel and try to visit shops across the country. This place rates in better than the top 5% of places I have been.
I will most definitely be back for more cards. Thanks for a great experience!!

Awesome place. I come here once a week for my DnD game, and he (the business owner) never rushes us out. He's very laxed and mellow, and knows a lot about what's in his store. He also has a wonderful sense of humor. They even had the specific comic book series I was looking for. I would also definetly recommend this place to anyone looking to buy beginners sets for DnD or any other roleplaying boardgame you can think of, as well as card games such as Magik and Star Wars. And if you're interested in warhammar or pathfinder, you can find regular groups if you ask the owner. They even have a calander as soon as you walk in. Great place to relax.

Ok let's start off with this, if you love star wars, magic the gathering, table top games, and board games this place is for you. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and very up to date on their MTG game base. Huuuge array of opened board games if you and your friends want to sit around and play, great selection of comics. I've personally found some hard to find comics there. Plus if there is something specific and you want it he will do his best to get it for you. The overall atmosphere is very welcoming BIG PLUS. They even have a new VR setup which is hella fun.

I am a historic player of magic (i.e. I played 14 years ago...), this place is great to learn, find that missing card, or pickup where you left off. Friendly, informative, and all around a great atmosphere.

This place is fantastic. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Good selection from board games, miniatures, MTG and comics.

They have one of the larger MtG single collections spanning the history of the game in town, as well as a solid board game collection. It's the go-to stop for Magic when I need a card, today, on the south side of town. Large gaming area and parking area as well.

Went here to check out their Dnd 5e book selection and also comics. The attendant was informative and let us know he could order anything we couldn't see on the shelf. He also answered questions for us about several products. My gf was buying a series of comics (6) and she had missed grabbing #4. The attendant quickly let us know that she had missed one incase our intent was to buy the whole sequence. It would have taken us probably days to find this out. Very appreciative for his observations. We'll definitely be returning so that we can support our local gaming store through all this covid stuff.
