Yeah the only thing that I can say is they do have some delicious fried pork chops that's the only thing that I ate at this restaurant so I would recommend but be careful because some of the old women in there will get an attitude with you

I see some reviews saying the cooks have an attitude. Some of those wonderful ladies have been working in that store for over 2 decades. They have a bad day or two, but the food always is good and the customer service is always good when I go. I’ve never had a problem:

Great place to say never judge a book by its cover. Place was EXTREMELY clean as you ever could imagine. They serve food in the back. Everyone back there is so kind and professional. Food is always always fresh, homemade and DELICIUOS!! Would definitely recommend them...

This store has amazing breakfast and lunch hot plates. Also it's a very safe place. The owners are American and don't allow any bad behavior Or riff raff. There not the cheapest store but you don't have to talk through bullet proof glass.

I go here at least once a week for lunch. The food is delicious and afforable. Highly recommended. They get quite busy between 11 and 2 so try to beat the crowd.

I didn't want to rate this place because it's a hidden gem, and honestly, I don't wanna share lol. Memphians know about this place, usually packed but WE'LL STAFFED. Best soul food I've had in a restaurant/carryout, in forever. I can't even begin to tell you how good their breakfast/lunch plates are. Pork chops, neckbones, catfish, smothered steak n gravy, cabbage, greens, sweet potatoes, beans, fried and baked chicken, spaghetti, lima(butter)beans, salmon croquettes, biscuits, corn bread and more-YOU NAME IT! (Shirley Ceaser voice lol) they have varying menu each day but everything is good.

My late husband use to talk about how good their food is, he'd purchase a plate on the way to work.....Now I periodically purchase one after work 6:30am...Keep Up The Great Customer Service and Delicious Food🍴🥓🥚🥪

A real Memphis neighborhood spot that serves a great breakfast & lunch. You gotta be quick cause the food moves fast. Lunch ends when the food is gone & thats usually around 12:30 or so. No late lunches here.

Great food! Not the best neighborhood, but this American owned (Memphis boys!!!! This is their family's store for several generations!!) is super safe. Food really is worth checking them out!

If you looking for good southern food this is the place got some greens pork chops and yams and bread got in my car got a bite out of that pork chop walked back in to see if my grandma was back there cooking good good

Finally...after reading all the reviews which have been nothing but positive...I finally went there specifically for the breakfast but due to the weather and trying to walk there end up getting a Lyft taxi breakfast was done but I managed to try the very tasty pork chops with some tasty mash potatoes and gravy with a side of biscuits...very very very good...will definitely be returning and this time for breakfast....YUM!...03/11/2019.....
