Dollar General

This place has everything you need in your everyday life like household goods, food, gifts, hobby items, and decor! It is nicely organized and the workers are super nice! I shop here often. Easy to find. They even have shrimp!

I've been shopping at Dollar General for a few years now and a little more so over the last year. Mainly at the other Dollar Generals in Lincoln, Eagle and Syracuse.
I decided to go to the Dollar General at 1st & Cornhusker today. I had been at my least favorite store cause I couldn't find anything. So I decided to drive the extra distance and go to 1st & Cornhusker. Dollar General is having 50% off on select items this weekend. Plus I have signed up for the Online App and their Digital Coupons. So I had another $5.00 off for purchases of $25 or more. (these are awesome savings).
I know many of the employees from that location and for several years now they've all been telling me that I've needed to come and shop their. (the store is not in great part of Lincoln and the store doesn't look like much from the outside. But when I walked in I was shocked at what a better selection this location had over the other locations that I've been shopping at for some time. They had a wide variety of housewares, seasonal and basically better selection of all items overall.
I will be going back to this location more often. The staff and Assistant Manager are fantastic. I've known Pam for many years and she and the other staff work very hard to keep the store stocked, cleaned and somewhat organized. Don't let a little clutter bother you, the Dollar Generals stores get lots of stuff constantly and they (in my opinion are short staffed). But the savings that you save with Dollar General are well worth the trip and yes, they stock lots of stuff but when I go I spend more time than needed. But I usually find those unique items that I've been looking for that I haven't been able to find elsewhere.
I've recently found some cool items to redecorate the upstairs bathroom at my farm. Plus I've found many great items for my meals.
So it's up to you, you can drive all over Lincoln and go to 2 to 4 Supermarkets for your Savings, or you can head out to Dollar General at 1st and Cornhusker and spend your savings on all your grocery, housewares/seasonal items.

I shop here all the time the staff is amazing they take care of their store! Make sure you take your ID because they card you EVERY time even if they know You! LIKE I mentioned previously they do their job well!

There aren't enough hours to actually get to see everything that they have at one given time, but I have to say it's a little scattered and crowded. The whole experience is aces mostly because of the prices and the helpful staff.

Love this dollar store! I live close and they always have what I need in stock. Very friendly and helpful staff! Always clean also.

The dollar general store in Belmont is a very good store for the Neighborhood If you need something and don't have time to go to super saver or Hyvee the it's a nice store to go to and get what you need
