Badger's Bookshop

When I entered I was greeted very kindly. The man recommended me some amazing books and explained how the store is organized. I got 6 books and most of them were hardcovers/ story collections and they came out to 30 bucks. Which is very cheap considering the quality of the books. 10/10 would come again.

I come to this book shop every year around Christmas, because I usually spend the holiday with my sisters. Every year I come in after getting coffee at the Mill a block away, the owner and I re-introduce ourselves, he asks what I’m looking for, I tell him, and I spend the next half hour or so browsing. I never fail to find something to purchase; the selection is expansive and well-curated, and the owner is well-read and helpful. My favorite little book shop in Lincoln.

This is my favorite bookshop in lincoln. The owner is very friendly and is more than happy to help find a book, talk about books, and he even cleaned a book off for me when it turned out to have a little gunk on the back!

There is a very homelike vibe when you enter. Theres bookshelves upon bookshelves sorted by genre & he always has a good selection. The prices are more than reasonable too! I always walk out with atleast 2 books.

Finally had the chance to stop in here today and WOW! I love used books/bookstores, but I’ve had a hard time finding one in Lincoln that fit the vibe I was looking for.

The bookshelves are overflowing with a collection of well-curated materials. Although it may seem chaotic at first glance, everything is pretty well-organized! Genres are kept together making things easier to find (and I love the cook books in the kitchen cabinets—brilliant). It was fun to browse among familiar books and stumble upon books I’ve had on my to-read list for ages. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and I found myself with an armload of books within 10 minutes!

The owner greeted us with a warm welcome, and upon seeing my partner and I in masks, he asked if we’d like for him to wear one as well. As a chronically ill individual, that level of kindness and care is truly so special. I love knowing I can go here and be treated with respect. He was fun to chat with and seemed incredibly knowledgeable about the books in his collection. It’s always a pleasure to chat with a fellow book-lover.

I love buying used books. It’s affordable, sustainable, and a wonderful way to build community. Grateful for this little spot tucked in the heart of lincoln. A grand hidden gem!

Super cool place and with a super cool owner. Grab some coffee from the mill and visit this treasure trove. Any and all books, some series are on sale. You can also find vintage books...history...just a awesome place when you need to get away.

This is a hidden gem in Lincoln for sure! My son loves this bookstore and took me in today, and I'm so glad he did! Great selection, is super cozy, prices were terrific...and the owner is fantastic!

Cozy, old fashioned, no-nonsense bookstore, with a great selection. You can tell the owner loves his books! My favourite part of visiting was whenever we would pick up a book, he could tell us all about it.

Had a great experience here! They had a great selection of used books and were very helpful and welcoming. I'll definitely be back when it's time for a restock on books!
