Busy place, well stocked, plenty of wine and beer choices, self checkout counters available, friendly check out employees. Sometimes you just to time out and go on certain hours of the day to avoid frustration of waiting. Corolla is a popular tourist destination - should be no surprise

The wonderful staff were walking people to and from their cars using umbrellas to keep them dry. A plus food lion. You guys are the best!

Clean organize and fully stocked. Seafood prices are very good!

Shelves were stocked. Store was busy but not crazy busy. Prices were reasonable and staff was very helpful. We enjoy shopping here when we visit.

I’m not from the area, and we came for a company beach trip. One of our coworkers is leaving us shortly, so we went to get flowers for her. We could not find a single vase anywhere on the island! Thankfully we found Tina and Derrick at this food lion, and they searched everywhere for us. After no luck, Derrick and Tina GAVE us an extra black flower holder that the receive their flowers in from the back. This was the best service I’ve ever had at a grocery store. Absolutely amazing! As a former food lion employee, I’m amazed at how wonderful their service was, even with it being super busy!

When in the OBX there are really only 2 places to shop for groceries. This place is hopping but the staff is up to the task. They are inundated when everyone arrives but they have all hands on deck for the rush. The employees are helpful and cooperative. The selection of food is good and you can get in and out efficiently despite the crowds.

We went on vacation and found this food lion to get some supplies for our trip. It’s was well organized and friendly staff.

Organized and employees are kind and helpful. Love the convenience of spirits and groceries in one stop. We don’t have that here in Maryland

They have a wide selection and good sales & deals. It's more expensive than Walmart for the most part but the convenience makes up for the price - it's a 10-15 minute drive from our beach rental, while the drive to Walmart is over an hour way.

Keith and Mike in the meat/seafood are amazing. The store manager isn't always helpful when you need something but overall clean, well stocked and hard working employees.

I was at food lion the Saturday before memorial Day. The supermarket was very busy, VERY BUSY AND CROWDED. This was the type of crowd that normally would have me driving to a competitor. But Food Lion had a young lady (an employee) standing on the customer side of the cashier's line. Almost like a concierge. I must say Food Lion - that position is a brilliant idea! She did an excellent job in managing the lines of customers waiting to be attended to. I don't think Food Lion truly understands the value of having the right person in that position and this young lady was the right employee in the right position. This particular young lady was very professional, effective and customer oriented. She made what could have been frustrating afternoon into a very pleasant trip to the supermarket. I actually returned and spend more in my second trip than I did on my first trip just because of the way the young lady managed. The lines.

Normally, I love going there! The employees are wonderful, however today I found one to be very rude. Several times while I waited in line I noticed her whisper not just to other employees, but a customer. Made me wonder if she was ever taught manners! I kept the review with 5 stars, because I’ve been going for years and have never had a problem.

Once you’re there it’ll make sense why they don’t do pick-up. They’ve been going at it for years and their layout is super user friendly. Great price ms on shrimp!

Get there early during the busy season. The place gets picked over very quickly. The staff does a great to restock but with a million people trying to get the same thing it’s hard. Be patient and respectful.

We come to this Food Lion every time we stay at the Outer Banks and are pleased each visit. Their employees are very nice and the same girl even rung us up a few different times throughout the week (I think her name was Janae or something like that - she was very pleasant and smiling!) Everything we needed was in stock and the store was clean and tidy. Easy to find what we want while on vacation! Thanks Food Lion!
