Weigel's

I had to make a stop at Habitat for Humanity to pick up some items for my neighbor, and realized I needed gas so I stopped over at the WEIGEL’S store number 26 and, I cannot express enough how impressed I am with the three gentleman, Dakota and Ji and Tac, that were working. I came in during a rush and the way they utilized teamwork to perfection and seemed to genuinely care about every customers day they interacted with….was inspiring. Weigles, not sure what’s you’re paying these gentlemen, but it’s not enough. I guarantee it’s not NEARLY enough. I don’t live in Knoxville, but every time i venture over this way I will be stopping by this store for a good dose of gratitude and inspiration.

Gas pumping speed:
Dec 10, 2022, pump 1, standard gas was about 7.75 seconds per gallon, or 7.75 gallons per minute, which is good.

Review is about pumping gas only. Prices well published everywhere and generally good here. Pumping speed not usually discussed.

Wiegels is one of the nicest and most welcoming gas stations. The restrooms are clean and gas prices are good.

There are 3 gas stations close by, this was has the most consistently friendly service. Never had a bad experience!

Typically customer service from the clerks are very pleasant and very helpful. However today, being a hot day.. I came in with the intention of getting a slushie. Machine was down and as I leaned over to ask nicely a female clerk if it indeed was down, she came at me very rudely saying "Mam I cant make it come out" with all due respect but if you know a machine is down ... Do something about it and put a note on it saying "out of service" ... I get it we all have bad days, but just because you are having one does not mean you should ruin mine. Thank you.

I dont stop at this weigels much, but sometimes i will because i want to preserve my car, and my boss offers me a ride on break. The reason I dont want to go back there, is the customer service i received on second visit. I was checked out by an older white lady, with red lipstick and black hair that may have been dyed. I decided to buy 2 bodyarmor waters, because of the discount on the sign. When i checked out, they rang up as their single price. She gave me a weigels card, which didnt work. I told her i could show her the sign, and she didnt say anything just rudely repeated the total. Idk why i paid it, instead of making her take one off

Psycho manager accused me and my fiancee of stealing snack at the gas station. The lady was prepared to lay down her life to check our purses for snacks she thought we stole when we had everything we wanted to get in our hands. Why would you want this woman to represent your store is beyond me. Please don't support this store.

Also if you're reading this lady, you can go rot in hell

Came here to buy snacks for a movie. Looked around for a few minutes, was being watched like a hawk but whatever. After about 5 minutes, the woman working asked if i needed help finding anything as I contemplated which candy to buy. I politely said no. Another minute and she comes over asking if she needs to check my purse. Very weird to be accused of stealing when my partner and I are the only ones in the store and you haven’t taken your eyes off us. Maybe they’re homophobic, maybe they’re racist (my partner is Asian). Or maybe they’re just presumptuous jerks, who knows. I’m new to Knoxville and now I know Weigels is a no go!!

How much more rude could your closing staff be. One lady is organizing drink coolers while another is sitting at the front counting a till. I ask a question to the person up front and I get ignored completely. So I go grab a sandwich and come back to the register. I stand there for what seems like forever as the person counting completely ignores me and once there is a second person in line I finally ask if someone can ring me up. I was told she'd be up in a minute. So the lady organizing drinks waves to me and sees there are 2 people in line them goes back to organizing drinks. I'm flabbergasted and wait for the lady to organize 2 more coolers before I finally ask again if someone can please (I felt like I was begging at that point) for someone to ring me up. So the lady counting snaps at me and tells me to wait. So I left my sandwich on the counter and walked out. And the worst part is as I was getting in my car the lady organizing drinks stopped and rang up the lady behind me. I mean what the hell? All I wanted was a sandwich to eat while I was at work tonight.
