Giant Food

This Giant usually has good sales. It's also very organized, clean, and well lit. They have lots of self-checkout stations. The scale is pretty sensitive though. If you need help, sometimes it takes a while for the staff to get to you, because it's usually a bit busy.

I went shopping today (which I rarely do mid day on a Sunday) but I was so pleasantly surprised at how efficient the staff were, especially the folks in the deli department. They had a lot of people to serve but they were quick, efficient and friendly. Even the cashier (I wish I could remember her name but I can't unfortunately) was fast and helpful. I couldn't believe at how quickly I was able to get in and out. I may not avoid shopping on Sundays anymore after all!
Also the produce was really fresh and I must have come after a restock because they had everything I was looking for.

Raynna was super friendly and helpful. She checked out customers respectfully and she was so nice. She greeted her customers with a smile on her face, and she offered to helped them bag their groceries. She helped me find the particular item that I was looking for when no one else could find it. Very grateful Rayanna was there to help last weekend!

Yaminah, one of the store cashiers is excellent. She is very friendly, sweet, and hard working. She always brightens up my day because she is such a positive person. Whenever I shop, I make sure to go to Yaminah. 👏

Everytime I need anything I just come to this place.
I prefer it over the other supermarkets because everything is easy to find and they don't fool you with wrong price.
People there are also friendly and attentive.

Nice giant. Friendly staff and lots of registers. There is a public bulletin board at the front of the store. Bathroom in the back by the butcher. Their hallmark aisle seems smaller than other stores. The Starbucks inside is great and fast.

I have been shopping at the Giant Olney for close to 30 years. The store is great and wonderful personnel including Steve Green, store manager, deli people e.g. Mello, Jason, jim and of course the pharmancy which is great and especially Yousef, Cherry, Van, Lynn and George at the front desk and Jacki the florist. They just can't do enough for you. The best ever!

Outstanding!!!! Very clean. The seafood was the BEST I'VE HAD IN A LONG TIME!!! The guy even gave me information about what the difference is in choices of Salmon. The aisles have great signs tgats visible. Great customer service. I enjoyed it!!

This is a beautiful place to shop....I drive from DC just to come to this Giant...They never seem to run out of anything I'm looking for. They have Alot of items in the store and they all ways seem to have a large variety...Like buffalo Alaskan cod....They are the BOMB 💣...but yes this Giant is Great

One word: "Savory". In the front of the store there is a seasonal/monthly magazine that contains menus that have recipes and a shopping list that you can pick up right in the store. I have tried a few and they all have been a hit! Try it, you will love it! Enjoy!

Love My Giant! I've been shopping there for years. What I love most is that its a smaller Giant , Very Friendly, and Clean , the Customer Service is outstanding, which is definitely a reflection of the management. They're competitively priced and its overall a Happy place to shop .💟

I have been going to Giant for over 20 years and absolutely love it. I am sure the new location will be fabulous. The staff is super friendly and it's like Cheers, where everybody knows your name, lol! I do wish they would bring Kurt back, he was an awesome addition to the Giant Team!

A great location. I was there today and the store seemed very modern. Nice, clean and very spacious. It even has a Starbucks inside. I was very pleased with the layout and selection. Was a nice and smooth visit today, even checking out went well.

The store is always stocked with the items I need. The parking lot is my only dislike. The parking spaces are so small. Whoever did the measurements were off, TERRIBLY!!

Heard about this new Giant from a friend. How excellent customer service is, how clean the store is etc. I went to this store for first time and I was very impressed with everything. This store deserves not five, but 10 stars. Thank you for the memorable and unforgettable experience.

This Giant is awesome. It's so modern and clean. Staff is very friendly. I no longer live in Maryland so when I came for a visit it is a pure pleasure. Please bring Giant to NC.

Associate Karen Williams is known to me from my job, and for years we have always greeted each other. Recently I had a question about a product location, saw Karen and asked her. Didn't know she had just gotten off work and was on her own time. Not only did she tell me where the product was--she walked with me to the correct aisle---ON HER OWN PERSONAL TIME!!!!!
Please have corporate contact her and give her at least a pat on the back for superior customer service--BUT PERHAPS ALSO A RAISE!!! She deserves it and Giant needs more people like Karen helping us!!

This Giant has been having a lot of good sales lately, it has a lot of unique fruits and vegetables that are fresh, it also has a bakery that bakes cakes to order, good deli selection and service. It also has fresh seafood depending on what is in season, a pharmacy and the employees are polite and courteous

Best grocery store in Olney,md to shop. Always good prices wo waiting for sales like Safeway or buying 5 of an item like Harris-Teeter. Always friendly helpful people who'llgo out of their way, unlike Safeway where I've had a night manager get upset at me bc I complained that 1 of their items,broccoli, never rings at the "on sale" price, you have to use an a special item number at checkout to get the sale price,which means people doing self checkout get screwed unless watchful. And Giant's self checkout is way better setup also.
