Incredible grocery store! I'm not from this area, but when I'm in town, I always make it a point to stop at this Safeway. This store has the largest wine selection I've ever seen in a grocery store. The bakery department has some of the most amazing selections. The produce section is fully stocked with fresh veggies. Need a gift when visiting someone? Be sure to check out their amazing flora section.

Thank goodness for our Safeway Pharmacy! In contrast to the CVS where there always seem to be issues in spite of the fact that I have been a customer since 1999. Safeway is on the ball!

The store is great overall but I’d like to give special mention to the floral department. For $10.99 I consistently get the best roses I’ve ever bought for my wife. Currently I have a dozen white roses that are still in perfect condition after a week. The secret is to cut the stems at a 45 degree angle or greater, but it takes a high quality rose to last that long. Thank you.

Love Safeway in general, but this Safeway sells wine! Wish I lived closer. I got 6 bottles and each bottle was a deal.

Really well stocked and clean store. The customer service is phenomenal, and the pharmacy is one of the best. Always insightful, polite. Never had an issue. All the staff are friendly and go above and beyond. I wouldn’t want to shop anywhere else, they have exactly what I need. This is how a grocery store should be.

As a (too) frequent shopper at the Olney Safeway, I can easily say how much I appreciate this store. The staff know who I am and greet me happily (we really are there a lot🤣) and I can almost always find everything I need. I like having the additional self checkouts for those quick stops. I almost never wait for more than one customer in front of me to checkout at the cashier lines.

Great service. Cheese and deli selections are excellent. The best part is the pharmacy. It’s like a hometown pharmacy and the pharmacists are top notch.

The safeway in olney is a fabulous place to shop. I've always found that it is clean, with fresh goods on the shelves. In addition they have a Starbucks and a very nice beer and wine selection.
It's important to pay attention to any specials because it's priced to compete with a whole foods or a Harris teeter.
While I don't go there every week to buy food I do find the deals are good The checkout lines are okay and the parking is more than adequate.
The employees are very helpful and whatever I've had a problem with the self-checkout (like all the time) there is always a helpful employee who can figure out what went wrong and how to get the product adjusted at the right price.
Safeway is not only a great store for buying your home food stuffs, they also have food specials at a really good deli department so that you can grab something ready made to go and eat on the run.
Safeway did a good job on this store!

Love the Olney Safeway, great beer & wine selection. Love the wine tastings they have on Saturday's & sometimes Sunday's.

The best Safeway store I have ever seen.

This is the only grocery store that I seen in suburban Maryland (Washington, DC), that sells wine and beer. The selection of deli foods and bakery goods is good. The smell of the fresh flowers sold here permeate the air. The produce and meats are fresh. The service is excellent.

I love this store. Always great customer service. Top notch high quality meats and awesome wine and champagne section to match. I'm fortunate to live close to this store but pass others on the way; my fav grocery store. Aged steaks here are to die for. Seafood too.

Large selection of groceries, good customer service. This store also sells beer and wine, which makes for a very convenient trip when preparing to entertain. The garage parking is a great convenience of rainy days.

I went to the Safeway on Spartan Road in olney Maryland and my clerk was Miss Jermiyah she was so helpful and patient... I have a disability and she assisted me to the restroom she was just getting off work and I totally appreciate that please keep up the good work thank you Wanda❤🙏❤

We worked with Safeway for our wedding flowers, and they were beautiful. Myrella went above and beyond to insure that we received exactly what we had envisioned. The arrangements stayed fresh for a whole week, and we received so many compliments on the flowers.

Very well stocked and they always have fresh bakery items. The have a parking structure in back so you don’t have to get wet when it’s raining

This Safeway has everything groceries for sure but more. How about a wide selection of wine. Seriously you'd think it's a liquor store. There are several categories to choose from. So that's just wine imagine then my surprise even more alcohol. The beer options are quite impressive so there you have it. A grocery store and a liquor store. Did I mention the prices are reasonable and often lowered by sales.

Best Safeway around. Clean, well organized and with a friendly staff. Great access for all, with coverd parking. Also one of the few grocery stores that carry beer and wine.

Always has what you want. Pharmacy is fantastic highly knowledgeable/savvy people. Meat Department is extremely stocked & willing to help you. Has under ground parking, real convenience. Bad time to go is after school. Floral Department is better than most.
