This little store, that's been here forever, is under new ownership and the name is now Karns Market. They have everything you need, and are super friendly.

New ownership. It's actually called JAYDA'S FOOD MART & DELI under new management. Clean, customer friendly, well stocked.

Great Store with great prices

As I happened by, it reminded me of the neighborhood convenience store with which I grew up. I decided to stop in and take a look around.
The selection and pricing were comparable to, if not slightly lower than, any of the corporate, gas station/convenience store/ fast food locations in the Knoxville Area.
To be clear, however they do not sell gas. The quite pleasant and most helpful clerk related that the site had been a filling station at one time, but removed the pumps and tanks many years ago.
It takes me an extra 4 minutes on an average 35 minute commute to swing by Al's Market. In the future, as I often have some extra time, I think I shall often treat myself to this newly-discovered, nostalgic, side-trip...

Really friendly workers! They keep the store stocked with great semi-inexpensive snacks, as well as hogs like chargers and other useful stuff. Great place to stop if your in a hurry

The father who owns this amazing man .. The son has always be so nice and respectful.. But they need get rid of the bad egg The white older male working Friday night charged me extra money I counted change and paid the other half with a debit. He ended up charging my debit for everything .. When I gave him the change too..
He also acts like he runs the whole place .. When he does not he is just employed there. I have see him disagree and argue with customers.. for instance, He was very rude to a lady with 3 kids tonight..
Remind u this is the same man who took my 6 bucks in change…
He needs to be let go .. He is bad for business never met someone so rude..
